I think I might have an idea about what went wrong at around 12m20s. Maybe it has something to do with the autokey not being set correctly betweek the IK / FK changes you used on the feet earlier on your tutorial? I mean, the autokey might have been set corretcly at that point but not at the beginning of the animation timeline, or towards the end. Something like that?
I just want to say you've really inspired me. You've become so awesome is such a short period of time, and then you even share what you've learned with other people. Who knows how much more awesome you'll be a few years from now! I can't wait to see :)
Blender is great when you want to learn 3d modeling and/or animation, when you don't have 800$ to spend on a package.
It's hard to compare a fully professional program with an entire studio of veterans to free software that's maintained in a big part by the community.
I don't even have 3DS Max, yet I've watch every one. They're really interesting, even for someone who's not doing animations or has ever used the program.
your tutorials are certainly not boring. they are the greatest things to have happened to me today.

I love 3d max so much, only wish I could buy it. I didn't do too bad for only using it on and off at college.

IK to FK transition, I guess if at the previous frame/pose you've had made it FK and keyframed it wouldn't give you a problem later.

You should render the animation once you are done... :)

@kademan13 Blender
it's the best free 3D modelling and 3D animation program, but its interface takes time getting used to.
spliter88 1 year ago
@spliter88 blender is ok, but it cannot be compared to the ease of use and quality of 3ds.
