@jmaer91 yeah mate i dont particularly like the current labor mob, but you have to remember that when the GFC hit the fall in consumption by people and tax that would have derived from that meant that the government went billions into debt regardless of the stimulus package. any party would have gone into debt as tax projection would have to be re-evaluated. still the stimulus packages were a massive waste of money and only added 1.5% extra growth onto an already strong economy.
