@1salvate hey man, ive screwed up. ive made two guides to help pures but neither seemed to make it to youtube before comp crashed and i lost everything(shared computer...) the next time i get tzhaar for a slayer task, i will be sure to get a fire cape. Ill record my journey and play as though i have 1 defence so that you can see my strategy in action. its a very simple strategy to follow, nothing complicated at all. Im lvl 104 combat. 95 atk : 95str : 60 def : 43 pray : 73 range: 1 summ ... what bow should i use and how many arrows do i need to purchase? ( I've made it up the the lvl 360s using melee only ) but died at the 360's not knowing they rape you close range!

since you have really good attack and strength you might like to try out a dragon hally and see how it goes. otherwise i would suggest rune crossbow and broad bolts. ive never used dragon hally myself because i got good range. might be worth an inventory space to have a dds to make quick work of the level 90s. its possible that you wont even need purple sweets if you play your cards right.

rune crossbow with broad bolts id say. if you cant use broad then use mith. theres no need to spend more money than necessary especially when you may have to try more than once

if you are on a budget then maybe a fire cape isnt in your best interest at the moment unless you really know what you are doing. i would suggest broad bolts if you can afford them. mith bolts might be a good alternative if you would rather not buy rune arrows. you can then use a prayer book

i didnt have 55 slay at the time and addy bolts were like 600 rune arrows 275 so i went with rune arrows to save money. it was expensive enough with the price of purple sweets and super restores

wow and you run out of prayer? this shouldnt be happening lol. idk what to say. maybe you are using more than protect range/mage throughout the caves. id suggest only using eagle eye when you kill the 90s if they are damaging you and use steel skin in a tight spot but these prayers shouldnt be on the whole time

they heal like 1-3 or 1-4 health and restore like 10 or 20 energy. the advantage is that they are stackable. however, these are very expensive and arent recommended unless you absolutely need them(low def levels)
