  • Love the videos make more!!!!

  • how many the edgun matador, Ted?? btw nice videos!! thanks

  • similar to Messi

  • youre wearing crocs... i like your videos but. seriously

  • the gun is a edgun matador :D

  • wouldnt the scope be off sight

  • that is soooooooo badass

  • youngfella, can you see through your camera at night if you were spotlighting or does this camera not have nv mode

  • what type of pellet gun is that

  • what type of pellet gun is that

  • u read my mind... lol

  • what do you use to edit you videos

  • how many pictures per second?

  • @markuscoollife Many settings - 120, 240, 420, 1000. Faster capture = worse resolution.

  • @EdgunUSA Hey ED, you´re awesome, very nice stuff you have here. I had to subscribe. I wanna ask you something. Can you give me your complete setup? Where can i buy a setup like yours? Thanks again!

  • @PapaleguasTX Thanks, Papaleguas. If you do a Youtube search for "Pigeon Shooting 130 Yards", the top hit will be a video of mine. In that video, you will find ALL details of my shooting setup. Ted.

  • @markuscoollife didnt u watch the video?

  • what type of gun is that

  • what gun r u using?

  • how much was that sniper

  • man i wish i had the cash to buy a matador

  • this is really cool, I'm e-mailing this to a few buddies. Awesome creation haha

  • were did you buy your camera im going to get one

  • i go hunting for deer and i want to know if there is a way i can mount this on my 30-06

  • @lilcorey310 The camera mount will fit almost any quality scope. Whether or not that works out for deer hunting will be another matter. The gun recoil may prevent the camera from capturing the shot. Also, when I deer hunt, I frequently have to take a shot at a moving deer - much more difficult though a camera. But, yes, in principle, it should work.

  • @EdgunUSA

i have the same setup as you but have a different camera but i am strugaling to get the crosshairs striaght on my camera can you please give me advice.

  • that is probably the coolest set up i have seen. hear nothing but great things about edguns. wish i had the cash to get one

  • after you set the frame rate. do you use any editing software before you post your videos?? cuz i have a camera with a 60fps setting... put that is used to just let more light in, right??

  • do you still use one eye

  • @Allen7944 I never close an eye - always both open. This is true whether I shoot using the camera or without. Most shooters leave both eyes open. You shoot with one eye and track your target with the (non-scope) other eye. Also, for me, closing an eye is straining - I do not like the feeling. If you watch the "Mac1 Hunter" video, you can see that when I shoot I leave both eyes open. ted.

  • Must say this is a highly informative vid, just what i was looking for, many thanks for the upload!

  • @phoenix1916 Sure thing, phoenix. Thanks for commenting!

  • edgun do you think the camera you use will be able to catch pellets in the 1000+fps

range? or is that a bit too fast for it .

    bus

  • @busdriver824 It can "see" them fine at 950. So, I'd guess it could also capture them at 1000 or higher. Gun recoil is the bigger issue. If the gun kicks hard, then by the time the recoil has finished, the pellet may already have struck the target. My gun kicks very little - so it is steady after the pellet travels only 20 or so yards.

  • where can i get that camera mount friend. Ps, love the videos, keep them coming, Thanks

  • i love your rifle bud its cool what is it bro.

  • can you do a video with a diffrent gun? please.

  • @MrAvocado99 This is the only air rifle I own. Occasionally, I have the pleasure of playing with other models (like the FX Royale). I'm sorry if you are bored of the Edgun. ;) I would very much like to have more variety, but the checkbook says "no". ted.

  • @EdgunUSA im not bored i think you have the best hunting videos on youtube. i was just seeing if you could make a video of hunting with a diffrent gun or a review, thats all.

  • @MrAvocado99 :) Thanks, MrAvacado! I will say that I plan to take the AoA rifles on hunts this summer. It was more difficult for the Royale because that was in January. I've been delayed with the Air Wolf because it was damaged by delivery. When I get it straitened out, I'll definitely take that thing out for a little vermin control. :) ted.

  • @EdgunUSA okay i will try to make some hunting videos to but they wont be as good as yours

  • hi i just bought a Casio EX FC150 on ebay what card do you use in your camera,i heard somewhere on the web when i was looking around and the guy said that you need a card that is able to read the slow-motion video,im not sure what he said but apparently a standard SD card is too slow and isn't able to read the input fast enough,so if you can advise on what card i should get i would appreciate it,your vids are great

    Regards

    Yammo12.

  • @yammo12 Hmm. I don't know much about that. The 16gb Transcend (blue color) SD card that I had in my last camera worked just fine in the Casio. I think as long as you aren't using a really old SD card, you should be in good shape. I'd think that anything 4gb or better would be "safe". One thing I can tell you is that HD video uses up a lot more card space than high-speed video. So, I would beg to differ re: the comment that the slow-motion video requires a faster card that regular....ted

  • @EdgunUSA

Thanks Ted for that info i just won 8GB 8G Class 6 SDHC Card for $16 im confident it will work, if not its no big loss it wont go to wast.

Im looking forward to getting some good footage, thanks again for all your help.

    Eamonn.

  • Crazy dogs.. tesc tesc...

  • One of the best scopecam setup I've seen. Nice. I'm going to get that Casio camera and adapter now too. Thanks. :-)

  • Cool set-up I am going to use this on my remington 597 thanks.

  • Take a look at the pentax UA-1 digital camera adapter looks similar and very available

  • @spdphotog That looks like it may be a bit higher quality than the Seben. Thanks for the tip. I've added you post to the comment field of the video. ted.

  • hi what do you say is your can better or a new model CASIO EXILIM EX-H15 DIGITAL Camera ?????????please give me a fair answer

  • hi dear i am going to buy casio EX FC150 for the cool viedos but tell me where u get that adjestment tool with the wever rail ?? can u help me with that

    thanks

    umer

  • It looks like with that bullpup design, it would actually be more comfortable to keep the scope in the forward configuration all the time. With normal rifles (non-bullpup) the rear of the scope is usually right around where the rear grip is. That usually allows for proper cheek weld.

I don't have much experience with scoped bullpup guns, though. So it could be different.

  • thanks pal just bought one on e bay was looking around for a while now , slow mo cam and im set up

  • @warrenpwr I'm glad to be of help. Thanks for tuning in, warren.

  • great setup there were did you get the clamp from for the camera

  • @cressy7isback eBay. There is a link at 0:27 in this video that will take you to a video detailing the camera mount.

  • that is a really sweet setup you got there did you custom make it yourself or are their kits for the camera? im very impressed so versatile.

  • @paigow66 Another good question! I've created an annotation link in the first 30 seconds of the video to take you to your answer. :) Thanks for the questions - they help me make my videos better.

  • Man... You have to register your idea and start selling it!! It's soo cool!!!

  • Hehe nice setup :-) I'll try the idea of the pvc spacer next time I'm out shooting.

  • @KiwiShoot Hey, thanks! I dremmeled the PVC a small bit to make it "hug" the scope. I also did this to the aluminum mount (on the bottom piece that touches the scope. On the dremmeled aluminum surface, I put a piece of electrical tape to prevent scratching the scope. These two modifications reduce pivot and sliding significantly.

  • @EdgunUSA ta I'll give it a try, my Seben mount twists a little in my videos. It'll also help reduce the parallax error and the scope cross hairs moving.

  • Nice set up! What video editing software are you using?

  • @whopperhead I'm still limping along with Ulead (I guess it's Corel now) Video Studio. One of these days, I'll dive into Adobe....but not yet, my friend.....not yet...

  • nice video again bud, i was lucky i sent direct to ed so got the whole matador in one go, of my 12 airguns its my favourite by far. anyways keep up the good work..del

  • Love the picture at the end fella and looking forward to the video too I am loving my new casio

    ATB Ghost Maker

  • hmm what are you doing with the stock? I see you change it.How much do you have?

    Regards!

  • @krysks04 The original stock on my gun was not the standard stock for Edgun. The U.S. distributor decided to only import the action, and he found his own source of stocks. These stocks were not up to the quality standards of "normal" Edgun stocks, so Ed (the manufacturer) agreed to send me this new stock. It took some time to get here (from Russia), but I finally have it, and I am very pleased with its quality.

  • @EdgunUSA ok,I understand.Matador is very good ,I like the stable shoots and accuracy, but the single shoot is a little not comfortable,my opinion.

Btw: I'm waiting for your new videos, are great!

    Regards!

  • very nice !

  • Nice setup. How many frames per second was the short slow motion bit at the end of your video?

  • @dreamhobbies That one was at 240fps. You couldn't see the pellet until it was at 50-60 yards. When conditions are brighter, the picture improves substantially. Tomorrow it will be sunny with a light wind... :)

  • good job!

  • Nice gun :)

  • awesome
