i have a mac pro tower. i went with mac because of final cut pro. i cannot find any good video editing software on windows compared to final cut. adobe premiere always crash and is clunky in its interface.

Yes, I've always used Macs every day since I first received OS X. (And before that, I used System 9 Macs part of the time and Linux part of the time.) I love Linux, but I love Mac OS X more.

No hard feelings, keep your opinions and your PC. I'm one of very few Mac users at work. They say silly things to me like you, but when they're all crashed because of update problems or hosed with viruses, I just *laugh*.

Macs suck. First, they make almost nothing compatible with other operating systems. Now they have some magnetic power cord so its going to get unplugged everytime someone bumps into it. With a PC if it pulls it off my desk, it will probably still work because that is just how damn durable they are. Macs are just supposed to be "trendy" so more time is put into making them visually appealing, and not into their range of uses. PCs are more useful,easier to fix and use, and will last you longer.

Macs are by far the easiest to use, iPhone and iPod clickweel are two non-computer examples. And when i turned my mac computer on for the first time, it gave me a list of available networks, just like that not annoying IP address settings or TCP/IP protcol fiddling. It just worked.

And vista, the windows OS, requires (as stated by Microsoft itself) 2GB of RAM to run normally. Also, It is incompatible with most sound/video cards and printers/scanners etc over 1 yr old. Basically, this means that your current windows pc, unless it is top-of-the-line, will not "last you longer", whereas mac updates all the time, and all hardware in macs are strictly controlled by apple so that it will always be compatible into the future.
