@Akhil1191 no not at all... if u have a wirless router hook it up to tht to get wifi.... 3g you have to pay monthly but u can get a non 3g model

@Moniquinha87 the ipad is basically a big ipod touch, but this is a good thing because the big screen enables apps to be more advanced so better games better internet better books etc.

Just one question though, how's the recognition of switching from portrait to landscape? I know when I was playing with the iPhone, I always had a problem getting it to switch to landscape and back.

at first, i didnt think the ipad would be something that would interest people, as at first it does truly look like a over sized IPOD. however, after actually taking some time and understanding the idea and theme of the ipad, its something very amazing. imagine traveling with this thing, its amazing, so thin, just fits in a bad like a tiny thin book. not to mention the user experience is unheard of. just amazing. apple is a marketing/product genius.

I really like the iPad I just have no reason to own one. When I'm home I have my iMac and when I'm out I have my iPhone 3GS. I don't need anything in between. Good review though!

Here is my review:

Don't buy it if you have some intelligence. Dont believe the hype! Its just a gloryfied iPod touch.. There isnt 1 original thing you can use the iPad for. YES it is cool, but thats it.. If I want too read a book, ill use an eReader (thats better for your eyes) If i want too watch a movie Ill watch it on my flatscreen HD tv, I wont watch a movie on a tiny screen. Music? Ill use my iPod, pictures? I'll just store it on my laptop or pc.. I dont need too cary it with me.

Awesome Video David! Very informative :) I love the changes on the calendar! Im used to using it on my laptop but It looks amazing on the iPad. If I had the money Id probably definitely buy one of these. Soon though, it'll happen eventually. haha!

The HTC EVO seems the best all-round portable device to be coming. You get a screen estate between the iphone and ipad giving way to priceless pocket-ability. Surprisingly you get more ram on the EVO which means its actually capable of multi-tasking and not being choked by the ram, even so on the ipad which only has 216mb or somewhere around that. Yes the fluidity of the ipad is nice but its on essentially a mobile OS trying to be something more. I mean file management is weak at best, productiv

I cannot say this enough. The iPad is way too underrated. At least Apple fans should be smart enough to trust that their perfection alone is a good enough reason to own any product they make...even if it DOES look like an oversized iPod Touch.
