@staggo3000 its a stringed instrument that produces sound by a crank-turned rosined wheel rubbing against the strings. The wheel functions much like a violin bow, and single notes played on the instrument sound similar to a violin.

Awesome man. Some pointers: If it's anything like a bowed instrument (which it is), then that crappy buzzing sound you're getting is from either not cranking correctly or from not pressing down on the keys fully. Just a hunch, try cranking a little faster. But overall, awesome job.

I think it has foil inside and you rotate it, as you hit the buttons underneath, it touches the foil creating different sounds.

It basically a violin where the fingerboard is replaced by the keyboard, and the bow is replaced by the wheel inside.
