Jesus told us to go and share his words but he never told us to aggressively approach non-christians, ignoring their faith in their own religion. The Korean church who sent these volunteers over kept telling people that their intent was to provide medical assistance but they are NOT fooling anyone here. They are the same people who tried to organize a "peace parade" where they were going to march down the main street of Kabul, telling people to believe in God.

I agree with you jaechon, besides i believe in a God of power and of mercy. A God that loves us and that is powerful. I pray that God gives them strength, because i'm sure that he will take care of the rest. John9:38,he clearly accepted worship of the cured blind man. Compare Acts 14 :Paul stopped the crowd to worship him & Barnabas. When Jesus called out: My God my God why do you forsake me, he is calling out to his father in heaven. 'cause God the father is holy, he cannot be with inequity (the whole world's sin, past present and future, which Jesus carried on the cross), he must leave Jesus to suffer on his own, that is the deliberation of Jesus when he prayed in Gethsemane.

No Longshoot. These missionaries are not wondering where God is. They know exactly what they are going through and this is part of Christianity. Please read Philippians 1:21-30

Precisely! Jaechon. The missionaries know that Christ is with them always but the Taliban have no assurance. Their God is one who loves the sheddding of innocent blood. At first, including myself, a lot of people were saying why these Korean missionaries went to Afghanistan of all places. I was wrong, they knew the risks, and still went there to share Christ love. That's what it is, to spread the good news to all nation and languages. You're all in my daily prayers.

If they are sure no one will follow their Christianity , their true heart will expose . We are in Korea , Christians always seem very enthusiastic to help foreigners and do their missionary . After we refused to follow them to the Church , all of them gradually vanish !!

Hi HocHanhHocMau. It's true that Christians fade away when you don't follow them and sometimes that's the sad part about Christianity. However, God will never give up on you. You don't have to follow Christians to be with God, you can believe in God yourself and pray to Him to come in to your heart. Then, He will open your eyes and transform you to a new child of God and embrace you with open arms when your time in this life ends.

It is true that they might vanish for a time. But God is still waiting for his prodigal son. Even Jesus himself cannot pursue a person and force them to believe in him while he was on earth.

Though your intentions are good it was not a good idea to send Christian volunteers to Muslim country, especially a war torn nation. What's worse is that these locals may face danger should Afghan fall back into the hands of Taliban for having contacts with foreign christians.
