From a purely movie standpoint "Godzilla" (USA) was a good movie in my opinion. And I've grown up with Godzilla, am a Godzilla fan, and an all around Kaiju lover. Sure they killed him and also made him into nothin but an animal, but was the movie REALLY that bad? Godzilla (Jap) movies are always about "he's invincible" ok I get that, but you launch a fuckin Patriot at him and it doesnt do ANYTHING, that's just not realistic at all. (I know its a fuckin monster movie, but still)
Take the Gamera movies for example. (Especially Gamera 2 and 3) Gamera is also an invincible monster, but HE actually gets hurt and still overcomes the odds thru his own powers. The spills blood. He gets run through and stabbed by other monsters, he shows that shit hurts. But he still holds to the "I'm big, I'm fuckin bad, and I will totally fuck your shit UP!" attitude the same as Godzilla. And on the whole the last few Gamera movies were far more well made than the last few Godzilla movies.
Now once again I'm a Godzilla fan, but I'm also a Gamera fan. I love them both and a showdown between the two would be EPIC as all Hell.
The point I'm getting at is that the US Godzilla jus needs a few tweaks. Intelligence, Atomic breath, lil more strength and brawn, and he'd be a perfect Kaiju. Then Put him up again Clover from Cloverfield and you have an American monster rumble that and Kaiju fan would jizz their pants over. GOD I should make movies!
If your talking about the woman's face, its from godzilla vs. biollante when Biollante turns into spores and ascends into space after battling Godzilla, the face been Dr Shiragami's daughter, Erica (considering he used his daughters DNA when creating Biollante).
If you're talking about the giant plant, that's Biollante in its Rose Form.
is the 2 song on little nicky

Although the American movie is considered by most a non-Godzilla feature, the name and idea for the film still relates to the legendary creature.
