@KaptinObvious Newt is ostensibly for "Family Values" & yet he doesn't uphold the values he encourages others to follow. That is the DEFINITION of hypocrisy. No progressive or libertarian is going to get on Newt if he wants to cheat on his wife or get divorced a lot. His life is his to live. Anyone who believes in FREEDOM knows his private life doesn't impact his effectiveness as a leader. HOWEVER, when he runs for public office on "FAMILY VALUES" but LIES about it, then yes, that is relevant

He is of no use to the new conservative movement. The guy has been married three times. He is no doubt incompetent when it comes to real conservative values. @KaptinObvious I'm not a "LIB", by the way. Nor am I painting all conservatives with the same broad brush (especially since I'm a moderate conservative myself). Rangle and Gingrich are of the same ilk, in my book, their party affliation is irrelevant. They worship at the altar of power and money, period. Cenk does not say that ALL conservatives are alike. Rather, he says that Newt CLAIMS to be a family-values conservative, when clearly he is not, thus the title: "conservative hypocrisy"

@freetheworldof it's funny you say that and are educated about it when the majority of Americans believe that this country was founded on religion. Don't know where this idea came from cause there is no evidence to support it. If you spend a few hours reading documents from most of the founding fathers, you will see very direct explicit hatred and ridicule of religion. The passages and statements cannot not be misconstrued or interpreted any other way than the way they are stated.
