However it is on the edge of dangerous i done it once glad! Didnt let mrs jump . N ur tour agent if western will mention in brochure though not run trips! Says alot x

the jump is so easy. i did it 10 times in 1 trip. the guy up top by the jumping platform looked at us and said you boys have done this befor so you dont need to put any money in the box . I asked what the box was for and he told us that if you put a dollar in the box if you hurt your self they will jump in and help you faster. as he LOL'ed. but the guys that make cash jumping out the big tree are nuts but fun to watch.

i live for 4 years in negril and i love to jump from ricks cafe, as long as you dont try to land on your back you be ok, i still got hurt about 3 times, ear, arm and balls, in +-50 jumps so its ok, all this when i was about 13.. god i miss negril

Yeah but a lot of people don't know how but feel like they have to cus its an "experience" plus everyone goes crazy on holiday. Most people who have good jump its just a fluke, it could go wrong for any non professional jumper.

I woz there last arpril, wouldnt get me jumpin off them cliffs after we watched one young girl jump and she landed in the water on her back, not coming up from under the water and the life gaurd had to jump in and pull her out, poor girl had lost her bikini top in the process(sure that woz least of her problems at the time tho) Anyway hope she woz ok. But ricks is a great place to chill , fab atmosphere.

I jumped off the cliff, it is great. There is always a risk. My girlfriend at the time jumped too and she got hurt. It was a blast, I'd do it again if my ankles weren't broken from my dirtbike accident. You only live once. Have fun. Jamaica is a great place, go there.

Leave the cliff diving for the locals. There is no hospital in Negril. There is no Emergency Medical Transport. No one has any training in CPR. Give the Jamaican diver some cash and let him do the diving for you. Relax, have a Red Stripe.

The drop is not as long as it looks. Maybe 30 feet? They don`t let the tourist jump off the tree. The designated jump area is totally safe for a leg first jump. The climbers don`t even dive, they jump. Let me tell you, it is a rush!
