I wanted to pull out my hair that day AND NOT BECAUSE OF THAT CONVICT ON THE SNOWPLOW. It was because for the entire game Miami marched all over the damn field and never punched it in. That game should have been a blowout. Instead it came down to that stupid "prevent" thinking that only prevents you from winning the game. This want nearly as bad as that monday night jets fiasco and the "prevent" vs Vinny. Some of these coaches should be hanged for that thinking.This was embarassing.

Don Shula is still fuming over this game to this very day. And the even more bizzare part of this story is the guy who drove the brush was a guy named Mark Henderson, who was a convicted felon out of prison on work release. Needless to say, Don Shula ensured that the rules were changed to ban this very quickly as he was on the NFL rules committee at the time.

I hope this isn't like ebay where a bad feedback screws u up. Anyways that's an old ass game. Rember it, I was like 7 years old and im a dolphin fan since im born and raised in Miami. It was a boring game for me back then cuz when u r young u wanna see lots of points on the board but if I can watch the entire game now I think I would love it.

I dont understand all of the controversy of this game. The guys job was to clear a spot and it was totally legal in the game rules for them to clear a spot so why all the controversy over this move does any know?

@twelvejewelz no, the rule at the time was the following: the "clearing" had to be made in a straight line, the line of scrimmage, and not the spot from where the ball was to be placed, thats why Shula was all upset..

@MegaKAL13 im not a Chicago Bears fan but i got the complete season including playoffs and superbowl of the 1985 Bears.. i have alot of games in the 70's Raiders Packers Cowboys Steelers Vikings Bears etc alot of games in the 80s 49ers Raiders over 450+ games from the 70's 80's 90's 00's Alot of classic games as well including playoffs and super bowl. the oldest superbowl i have is super bowl 3 jets vs colts joe namath.. i also have some college games and different pro sports games.
