  • The cutoff on my CLK could be better for sure, but its much better than the Audi TT .

  • very nice sexy cutoff, but why did u retrofit if u had hid on the stock headlights? i know its better, but still necesary?

  • the 02-03 maxima stock hids has one of the worst output i've seen compared to other cars with stock hids. you can't see more than 20-30 feet ahead of you in a dark road. i like the sharp cutoff on the tsx projectors and the light output is a lot better. i went back to stock headlights now since i'm going to sell the car soon.

  • clean line bro, good job.

  • that cut off is the sex! lol good job with the retro!.. im doing one myself

  • nice retrofit, i'm planning to do one on my 02 maxima as well. just deciding projectors right now.

  • i already sold it last month =D i'm using stock xenon reflector headlights right now haha actually i didn't sell it...i just traded for stock headlights.

  • i'm selling my car sometime next year so i'm getting it back to stock first. stock xenon's aren't as good but at least it's not halogens so it's all good for now haha

btw good luck with your retrofit...let me know when you get them...i wanna see =D

  • It's not even the bulb. Bi-xenon projectors have a hinged cutoff shield attached to a coil. When the coil is energized, the cutoff shield retracts and the full light output from the bulb is sent through the projector, therefore projecting light both high and low.

  • cool dude make sure you have everything sealed up nicely to prevent condensation. i highly suggest using the nissan oem sealant thing. it's kind of like a black string of stick stuff which is what i have to seal up my headlights. works great. but sadly to say i'm back to stock headlights haha

  • i bought mine from some guy on hidplanet dot com for around $170 shipped. you can try ebay or hidplanet to see if there's any good deals around.

  • well then i had no idea. so wat cars come with this

two beam in one your talking about. cause i have a tl

which has "bi xenon" and i know for a fact that the

high beams are halogen. well i learned somthing new! lol.

  • please just do me a favor and talk to a acura, bmw, or nissan tech. they will tell u the truth if they actually know wat their talking about. trust me, u cant work xenon's like halogen in high beam. u can purchase high beam xenon's for your car but as far as factory cars they "dont".

  • tsx xenons suck. 04-06 max has bi-xenon projectors. meaning the high beam is also xenon and not halogen.

  • HAHAHA thanks for that obvious comment...this is the last guy who needs info on retros..probably his 6-7th retro..

Retro is looking good....missing the accord?? :D

  • not true. bi xenon is when the low beam xenon bulb helps the high beam with projecting more light. the highbeams are still halogen.

  • actually a bixenon set up it only uses one xenon bulb and it's the projector housing that acts as a low beam and high beam. when you hit your high beams the shield inside the projector will drop and thus throwing out more light making them high beams. some cars might still have halogens in their high beams but they are usually for daytime running lights or fog lights (like the acura tl)
