Nice work, are those M cell size batteries? Looks like the load was just a tad much for them with it dropping to 6V but considering a car battery is usually rated for 30+ AH and 500+ Amps for cranking, awesome work. A 2P4S setup of those (or the 16Ah Long M cells) could possibly be a good replacement. How have the cells held up with age?
@leaualorin Yes,, I actually do have many A123 cells and they are awesome. More expensive though.
