  • FANTASTICO! Un'esperienza mistica !

  • WTF

  • Excellent song! i love it,

I play the violin and i want the seet music,

    Anyone in here has it?

My english is not good sorry

  • @dancewiththedeath The score is available for free at ismlp.org

  • It's interesting to see them all standing up. This is what a chamber orchestra should be like.

  • Incredible! This is so fantastic. And not just to watch, but to see, hear and feel. Are they playing on period instruments?

  • Muy bueno

  • Nicely done! very good!

  • c'est magnefique!

  • Who is playing? Thanks :)

  • GReatest!

  • fantastic arrangement of the players.

  • That was an exquisite interpretation! I have been in love with these concerti for years and I have got to say: what an amazing performance!

  • I really love how they set apart the instruments playing the 'concerto' part from the orchestra.

  • Can anyone please tell me who performs this? I need it for school !

  • Music like this convinces me that Italian music, on the whole, is not at all inferior to German music, regardless what the narrow-minded musicologists say. In many ways, it is better: better lyricism, less rigidity, far more expressivity and warmth. German composers were more prolific, and their pieces are more complex, but in the grand scheme of things, people should realize composers like Corelli, Albinoni, and particularly, PALESTRINA, are equal to Bach, Mozart, etc.

  • @KhagarBalugrak

    VERDI,PUCCINI,ROSSINI,MORRICONE,VIVALDI,FRESCOBALDI,MONTEVERDI,PERGOLESI,SCARLATTI,LULLY,CHERUBINI,GABRIELI,CACCINI,PERI,SALIERI,PONCHIELLI,BOCCHERINI,PAGANINI,DONIZETTI,BELLINI,TOSCANINI,MUTI,STRADIVARI,LEONCAVALLO,MASCAGNI,PIOVANI,BERIO,ROTA,ABBADO,PAVAROTTI, E.CARUSO,BOCELLI,FARINELLI,GIGLI AMOMG OTHERS..

  • @MVGN21, Montiverdi and Scarlatti are two of my favorite composers. All the ones you listed are great composers...in my opinion, Palestrina might be the greatest composer ever to live. I don't know how he does it, but every time I listen to a piece by him, I'm moved beyond words. I cannot say the same of any German composer...though the Russians, French and British composers are also great. But German composers, on the whole, suck! :)

  • @KhagarBalugrak

    ok guy

  • Omg your music is the most wonderful i have ever heard.

god bless you and ur orgestra god bless

  • Treat for the ears and brains.

  • you're so gorgeous, i like your Vivaldi's bassoon concertos :D and this is very beautiful.....please, create an account in facebook u.u

  • He is cute!!!

  • excelente *--* =D

  • What are those huge instruments being played behind the violin 1 concertante? Are they lutes of some sort?

  • they are theorbo

  • @LlamaLlord21

    yes, these are two theorbos

  • No. I don't manage to see well the right one, that yes could be a theorbo, but the left one really seems to be an archlute.

  • @LlamaLlord21 The spanish name is "tiorba".

  • Beautifull!!! Thank you for posting this video.

  • lindo esse concerto de corelli

  • Lindo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Arcangelo Corelli, what a master of the art! By far my favorite work of Corelli, stunning, uplifting, so detailed and intricate, like cascading waves of light dancing on the water...God I love this piece ...Corelli surely was touched by God when he wrote this. The perfomance is outstanding, the acoustics sound so full and rich. Thank you very much for sharing such a lovely work.

  • @spinalblock he is credited as the father of modern violin technique...

  • Molti bellisimi ! bravo !

  • i like how both solo violinist are across from each other and calling back and forth. good job

Saludos!!!

  • @angel006a barroco = lineal(contrapuntistico) clasico = bloque armonico ( acompañamiento)

  • just perfect

  • Está increible esta interpretación, lo que mas me ha gustado es la consistencia en la acústica es sorprendente, gracias por el video........by the way...which ensemble is this???

  • Bella Gianmaria!!!!

    Steiner

  • It is so very encouraging and delightful to see people creating such lovely, joyful, and humane music together. A very sincere thanks to all from Polypenstemon Free Floating University in Richmond, California.

  • bellisimo,,

  • PERFECT!!

  • grazie a voi

  • Awwe, the violinist looks so cute, and a good man....

  • incredible playing

  • amazing

  • BRAVO! BRAVO!!

  • Excellent sound, heavenly! Makes me wonder at this dimension of sonata da chiesa. Where was this recorded? Thank you very much for sharing, ensemblelaurasoave.

  • Beautiful! With compliments

  • Wow! Great performance! Bravo!

  • Beautiful :) I really enjoyed it :)

  • I heard L'aura Soaves concert in Vienna 9th of April. Magnificent playing. Specially Nicholas in the Handel sonata for violin basoon and BC. The last piece a basoon concerto by Vivaldi with improvised Fandango effects in the violins was also very innovative. I consider Sergiu Azzolini a master and Nicholas Robinson as one of the most interesting baroque violinists of our days. His playing technique looks very natural. Never since David Oistrakh have I seen such a relaxed player!

  • This concert is really significative for me. It really has the taste of medium baroque with certain touch of Renaissance. The vitality on every chord, make memorable every part of particela.

You can feel the capacity of Great Masters and spirit of those days for being amazed of natural principles, the curiosity of those humans for discovered the greatness in small and complex nature systems, the continuous effort of invincible human spirit for understanding the world.

    Thanks for sharing!!!

  • I will hear L'aura Soave in Vienna in beginning april. I am looking forward to hear them live!

  • Przepieknie jestem poruszona

  • W.O.N.D.E.R.F.U.L.!!!!

  • You should turn that into a proper acronym! It should describe this performance!

  • muy bonito

  • Beautifully played!

  • Nice position of the ripieno witch makes the contrasts very well worked out. Splendid acoustic in this church. More movements of same concerto please !

  • One of the best interp of this piece in my opinion....

  • Expressive & Passionate....Beautiful

  • Maraviglia ac sublime

  • Splendida interpretazione

    Ottima scelta del tempo.

  • God Bless U and Your orchestra. There is a lot of light in Your playing...

  • Yes, there is a lot of light in their playing. I never get tired of hearing this recording, or anything else L'aura Soave does.

  • Awsem!! nice continuo action

  • Honestly, this makes me almost cry when I listen to it. It's that good. I've never had a reaction to a piece like this before.

  • Semplicemente delizioso!

  • Una musica celestiale, un compositore geniale. Arcangelo Corelli, orgoglio della musica italiana e dell'Italia. Superbo.

  • @Daniele9887 Italia = bellézza ;-)

  • great orchestr! love the theorbo's!

  • What really makes this so beautiful is the way all the players use voicing in such refined and creative ways. They build a magnificent church, with all of the architecture, out of each chord and passage.

  • I would LOVE it if L'aura Soave recorded all of the Corelli Concerti Grossi. Judging by this performance, it would be the best recording of these pieces ever made.

  • I absolutely agree.

  • Brilliant sound quality, and to see the musicians playing this piece! I love Arcangelo Corelli's music, this one especially!!

  • Incredible. Sublime.

  • It's a cool arrangement to bring the concertini forward (even if the ripieni are all squashed in together at the back there!) cuz that way you get the left-right antiphony when things are passed between primo and secondo parts, but also forward-back antiphony between the concertino and ripieno parts. Quadruphonic sound! Shame Youtube only gives us stereo...

  • Excellent performance.....outstanding work by all....

  • The visual metaphor of excitement in the score is matched by the metaphor of excitement in this outstanding presentation! This is perfection far past its absolute! Cheers!!!!!

  • This is ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. I have never loved a performance more than I love this one.

  • biondi is better

  • No. No he isn't. This piece couldn't be played any better than this rendition.

  • Biondi plays this very fast, but L'aura Soave plays this piece with love, affection, and sensitivity. There's something very radiant about the way they play this, and indeed, the way they play everything. Biondi's orchestra lacks these things. It's fine for you to love him, but let's be clear: this group has a sensitivity in the way they play that Europa Galante does not.

  • Hi KhagarBalugrak, I agree with you.

Biondi plays this Concerto too fast, expecially the first measures. I suggest you to listen another very good performance of all Corelli's Concerti Grossi made by Ensemble 415 (if you haven't listen yet), but this rendition of the 4th Concerto is the best!

  • Very beautiful!!! Thank you!!!

  • bravi ragazzi! bella interpretazione!

  • magnificent

  • Beautiful.

  • Splendida interpretazione.

  • Bravo! Incredible

  • es tan perfecto q duele

  • So nice! I listen to it whenever I can!

  • The sheer beauty of this music brought tears to mine eyes! Absolutely breathtaking!

  • very, very nice!!

  • Perfect!

  • who are the soloists?

  • Please share more videos of this ensemble with us!!

  • No soporto tanta belleza.

  • Exquisite sound with just the perfect tempo - this is usually played much too fast. This ensemble provides the dignity this piece demands. Where are these players from?

  • oh kewl!!! cant wait to play this song at our concert!

  • This is an awesome performance from my favorite composer. Thanks!! What are those giant guitars?!

  • It's an ancient Lute, called Theorbo. Greetings.

  • Awesome, thanks for the info!

  • Ithas a dance movement (3rd part) as dances types were presents eveninchurch sonatas or concerti, and 4thpart it's notadagio,it's allegrowith a fasterCoda. It's a nice interpretation, the guy and orchestra mainly.

  • it HAS a dance style in the 3 part, as dance characteristics were present even in church sonatas or concerti, and last part is not adagio, it's allegro with a faster Coda

  • Concerto da chiesa, I think, because in all its 4 movements it doesn't have dance style. The sequence isn't exactly the one of the sonata da chiesa (adagio, allegro, adagio, allegro) but it is near to it (adagio/allegro, adagio, allegro, adagio).

  • If anyone knows, would this be described as a concerto de Chiesa or concerto de camera?

  • Makes your spirit want to soar. Perfection.

  • I actually met the red-haired soloist today in Cremona! He's really great!

  • This is soooo amazing !! Great ! 5*

  • I am so glad we are playing this in our orchestra, so beautiful...

  • you are so lucky XD

I played it once, but they are SO much better than us...

  • you can sort of get an idea of a baroque style bow by holding it fromthe middle-ish (above the 'frog')

    wow...its excellent!

  • This is the best version i ever saw of this Concerto. The sound, the "tessitura", the instruments, makes you go back to Corelli's time. Their disposition is similar to some pictures of Corelli's Concerti performed in Piazza di Spagna in Rome. Please add more videos, and tell me who's playing! Greattings from Buenos Aires, Argentina...

  • Wow. I have to play this song with my violin group, and they make us look like little kiddies.... actually we are. sort of.

  • Complimenti... davvero bravi!

  • Fantastic i love this concerto aside from Corell's christmas concerto grosso

  • This is just fantastic! A magnificent interpretation of one of Corelli's best works and the sound of those instruments is just divine. The male violinist, interestingly, has a very baroque technique. he doesn't use his fingers much in his bowing hand as a modern violinist would for playing fast passages or sautielle. Absolutely brilliant!

  • This is an excellent performance of this piece. My school orchestra performed this and I listened to it every morning when I walked in. I love it how they have all of the baroque instruments in the church. Please do not remove this video because it brings me confidence and inspires me.

  • La disposizione dell'orchestra è una figata!! Scenograficamente barocca !! Bravi

  • grandioso stupendo.

    musica bella e alegre

  • You sound wonderfully! Many congratulations from Argentine!

  • Ottimo lavoro, signori!
