I'm pretty sure any 'torture' carried out on the Gaza Strip is carried out by Israel. It's hard to carry out torture when your best weapon is a rock. Good one, FOX. You're fucking stupid as shit.
No one expects those countries to uphold basic human rights. They expect better of the US though. If the US wants to go down in the mud with Iran and Syria then be all means, go ahead.
This, unfortunately, is something these neocons will never understand. It's truly saddening to see people so enraptured in their own rhetorical fog that they can't see the plain truth. We tortured people. Period. We are not Iran. This should be embarrassing to them. This goes well beyond politics or "revenge." This is about making us look respected again, which, in turn, makes us safer. These clowns just don't understand that torturing people only serves to create more terrorists. Sad.

Hell hath no furry like a neocon's love for stupid argument. Well, I made my comments in response to "hellshade2", who - apparently - wants to shut down Fox News because they don't report news the way he wants them to.
You're right Ted. Fox has every right to say what they want, and to exist as a for profit media company, no matter how inane, ignorant, or completely twisted their hosts and ideas are.
Because FOX isn't news. It's propaganda. There's a difference between reporting and straight up lying. Same goes for leftist media.. But CNN is NOT leftist. CNN is moderate.
the difference between CNN and Fox and MSNBC is that FOX and MSNBC will spend countless hours spewing out right and left wing propaganda, while CNN will spend those hours actually covering what happened. FOX and MSNBC are pure opinion channels.
I'll grant that CNN does a MUCH better job about actually covering NEWS; however, how they present that news often comes with a left slant and their bias also shows in what news they choose to present.
Stop with the right left wing nonsense. It's propoganda to split the American people. Let's come together as conservatives, liberals, libertarians, and moderates to create a better America for all. One more thing, the corporate media is a scam. CNN, MSNBC, FOX, all lies and the root of evil. I only trust independent non-partisan news factors.
@robinvan1983 Actually, no. Guantanamo Bay territory is owned by the United States. I'm Cuban, so I know what happens in Cuba's prisons. As in, the prisons owned by the country of Cuba. You should read the book "Against All Hope". It's about a man who was locked in prison for 20 years given barely any food, barely even surviving. All that torture for just speaking out against the government. And there's a huge fuss being made about terrorists getting water dropped on their head? They killed...
@robinvan1983 innocent civilians. Learn something about what you're talking about before you start talking crap. My uncle was tortured for nearly a year in Cuba. What goes on in Cuba's prisons is much worse than anything the terrorists in Guantánamo Bay go through. And worse, it's for saying something about the government or something as simple as having an American dollar. Imagine that the first time you disagreed with a President it's 20 years, the second it's life, and the third is...
@robinvan1983 execution. Is that justice for you? It's not just for terrorists to undergo water-boarding, even though they killed hundreds of people? You might have thought differently had you been one of the relatives of one of the terrorists' victims.
Hmmmm. For all the teabaggers who don't trust the government with their money...they sure seem to trust the government with their lives. Taxes...not good....Torture...good.
That's the problem when you get caught beyond a reasonable doubt. You can't trust the government when they get caught in a lie. Buddy just died from "suicide", 41 year old CFO of Freddie Mac.
Your citizens sure seem to come down with bad cases of assignation and suicide. Hopefully its not contagious...
No, it's about being a nation of laws, not powerful individuals. "Revenge" would be to legally mandate a feature on Fox and Friends that put in place random (but oft-resorted to), on-camera forced waterboarding for Steve Douchey...with lots of slo-mo and close-ups to capture the pants-pissing and high-pitched shriek-pleading.
THAT'd be 'revenge'...'not that there's anything wrong with that'.
This video makes clear the reality of limbic brain disorder. Those who suffer from this disorder live in a world of subjective reality, clinging to this world constructed with prefabricated lies. When confronted by the truth they create absurd arguements based on fallicies. When pressed they become increasingly irrational, and exhibit abusive and violent behaviour.
sorry to be the ones to break it to these asshats, but the US has been condemning torture in both of those places for years...unfortunately, they have no jurisdiction in Cuba or Iran....but what does that have to do with our elected officials condoning a torture technique that we jailed at least 10 japanese soldiers for, with varying severe punishments for conducting the same torture (waterboarding) on our men in WW2?
Somehow they think America has jurisdiction to prosecute what foreign governments do???
Man they are getting really nervous really fast. Attorney General Holder hasn't even said anything yet. Calm down folks.
This isn't about what Cubans or Iranians do. This is about what the previous administration and what they did under our name and how they pissed on the constitution and International laws we are (at least supposed to) abide by.
Lets focus on the idiots in guantanamo using torture -_-

Somehow they think America has jurisdiction to prosecute what foreign governments do???

This isn't about what Cubans or Iranians do. This is about what the previous administration and what they did under our name and how they pissed on the constitution and International laws we are (at least supposed to) abide by.
