This song NEVER gets old. My best friend had the 45 when we were kids. We played it constantly. That silly music sounded like a warped record then, and it's even funnier now, because it's just the same. <3 The lyrics are hilarious too. The one change I would make to this masterpiece is a name change from Prince Buster to 'Ball Buster' (for obvious reasons) Otherwise, it is perfection itself.

I bought this in the U.S. in 65 I guess I can't remember what label it was on and I don't have the energy to unpack boxes of 45s in the attic It seems it was Phillips does anyone know for sure? I didn't know it was released in the U.K. in 63 Ska and Reggae we're just starting to become popular Good to hear it again

I think that Johnny Thunders actually did a half-assed version of this on the live part of his "In Cold Blood" album..."Thou shalt not annoy me wit' your irritations...for I am the Fuhrer..."  It pretty much falls apart halfway through....which was kind of a thing that happened a lot with Johnny.
