@ORIGINALM0DZ You're welcome. If you can or already have, I'd recommend getting a 12v fan mod done to your JTAG, also make sure it is very well ventilated and can have a good bunch of fresh cold air around it (not too cold lol). Make sure you put some arctic silver thermal paste on the cpu and gpu chip (under there heatsinks).
I will PM you methods to keeping it cool, to make sure you don't get the same error(s) you had last time. Unless it dies of general Hardware failure....
@ORIGINALM0DZ Depends on what the secondary error code is. I wouldn't recommend doing this if you haven't yet done the x-clamp fix. It works very well, all you need is some washers, some screws and thermal paste. But this may work. Remember, this isn't a perma fix. It's temporarily to be used. I would sell it and pretend it didn't have RRoD after fixing it.
Good luck, I will most happily help you with it if you want via PM :)
I would get a heatgun off eBay for £13, Much more effective and easier. I used to use this method, only lasts for about a month though :/ Depends on how severe the RROD problem was
@VideoGamerHD Chuck norris can get online without an internet connection, and keep his Xbox cool without heatsinks. He JTAGs using his piss. He mods with cream crackers.
@xScotsFinest No shop. This dude was like chillin' next to gamestation, I came out of gamestation after having a look. Then he said
"want tae buy this xbox fur a pound?"
I figured it was Red Ring'd and so I was just like. Okay then, that's cool, I'll buy. I wanted to try and fix it. And our of all the methods I have in fixing them, I tried this first. I didn't want to waste any of my thermal paste, bots or washers so I did this first. And I just got an xbox for, one pound!
@xScotsFinest A dno. I might try and redo the case, maybe cut out some holes and put plexi glass on it. Then put LED lights on the mother board so it lights up. Then I'll change the color of the ring's on it, so there we have a sick LED xbox. Then I'll sell it, fairly cheap. Also, I have a good bunch of Xbox's, but I don't know where some of them are, and I'm not sure of the exact number.
@TMHxModder Well that would depend on a few different things. You need to know and be able to judge when enough is enough and If you are too close to the components on the board and also you need to be at a constant distance which is enough to heat up the chips, and reflow the board. Like you said, you need to know what you're doing. Which I do, as I fix a lot of Xbox's. I guess, you can say this is the same as any old reflow station/machine as it does the same job but the station is perfect.
ha ha ha funny fix

@ORIGINALM0DZ Okay... It's your choice, but I HIGHLY recommend you keep it super cool... Water cooling preferably but that's expensive!
Have fun :)

@XboxHackingTutorials True, this is only a temp fix. Not a perma fix. But I guess, nothing lasts for ever.

@VideoGamerHD Depends, if your chuck norris, the xbox would be too scared to have an error.
XboxHackingTutorials 7 months ago
@XboxHackingTutorials True dat. Chuck norris used his spit as a thermal paste on a rrod xbox once. Now he can host 10th lobbies after patch.
