  • Yessss :D --- One of my favorite Racing-Games on the AMIGA !!! GREAT !

  • the feeling of speed in this game is incredible

  • try on 68060 !!!

  • Oh yeah ! My first car game on Atari STE. Thanks for this video.

  • This was actuallt a pretty decent game. A bit like a budget version of Formula One Grand Prix. And what it lacked in graphics and complexity compared to F1 it made up for in speed!

  • Me and a friend played this to death, some great memories. It makes me kind of sad now when I look back and know those great days are gone forever, nowadays the younger generation are not happy unless every game is pure perfection. I always look at games nowadays and just wonder when did this happen, in just 20 years from Vroom to the likes of Battlefield 3 graphics wow!

  • @gary72carol61 Not gone for ever at all, just need an emulator to run them on your pc, WINUAE is good for amiga games. Plenty of forums out there with info.

  • Hehah. |D "So, what kinda game did you play yesterday?" "Vroooooom!"

I'm liking the speed in this game. :U The first person perspective is pretty sweet, too. Shweet.

  • This game was great. Lots of speed and decent controls. Good times.

  • I remember playing this for the first time over a girls house!?

  • Always thought those super-slow moving cars were too slow. They should have been speeded up, or there could have been a white flag warning. Otherwise, great game, as well as the sequel "F1" but not so much "F1 World Championship Edition"

  • The sensation of speed is amazing.

  • so far a great racing game for the amiga

  • almost the same game called F1 World Championship was on the Sega MD

  • wow I forgot about this game, I used to play it

This was certainly faster than F1GP (from Microprose I think)

  • Vroom just nailed it with it's great speed and tough gameplay.

    Plated it to death!

Thanx for uploading and bringing back fond memories.

  • I played this game so damn much. This, Jaguar XJ 220, Lotus 3, and Nigel Mansell were my top racing games for Amiga.

  • @honorabili Hell yes! Mine too.

  • classic !!!

  • Do it again some time on the non Arcade GP mode see if you can complete that one next.

  • i grew up on this race game, i always loved how you could fly if you drove over the wheels of the other cars xD

this game so hard though! >.<

  • Wow! This game actually has wind noises. Something Gran Turismo achieved in its 3rd game on ps2. :)

  • bit of an anti-climactic ending to all that work. Game does show what the Amiga could really do when devs are just badly porting games for a quick buck. (looks at hard drivin/chase hq/outrun ect..) A great sense of speed even more apparant in the native 50 fps vid.

  • This was a really hard game. You have to be a real driving game nut and play it over and over again to get good at this hard one.

  • if you bumped opponent's wheels the right way,you could jump for a while..

  • Incredibly fast engine for an Amiga and playability is also pretty good. I really loved french developers.

  • Muito bom+1

  • Monaco GrandPrix Clone.

  • @Bruce777999 monaco grand prix wasn't as fast and playable as this one

  • @Bruce777999

Vroom first preview screens and ads were in magazines as early as 1988, 3 years before US Gold's Monaco GP.
