What kills me about Microsoft they have all these great ideas & great products, but they never bring them out for us the consumer instead they sell to the military for war rooms & to rich corporations & there greed is going to come back & bite them & then Google & or Apple will bring something similar out in the near future because Microsoft is to afraid to do anything different & what kills me is they have the tech, but only selling to big companies & military. What a waste of good tech!
The phone call looked a little weird... almost like it was a pre-recored video. Also I would of liked to of seen them bring somone out of the crowd to ask JAG some questions to see what he would do. I just think Microsoft might be promising a lot they they arn't going to deliver on. Don't get me wrong a lot of that looks really cool. It just looked a little too CSI instant rendered 3D graphics to me.
This looks like something that Disney Imagineering might have created 40 years ago to illustrate computing in the year 2000. It's all flash and no substance. For example, the "DAG" character is a prerecorded actor, not an actual digital assistant, and the artificial intelligence needed to interact like he did won't be available for several decades. So why put that in the demo? It makes the whole thing look like a scene from Deep Space Nine, rather than the typical work environment of the future.
stop showing off and talking about all these great shit if u never gonna bring it out..

agreed. unless we have true 'AI' (and we don't) we will never have proper voice-recognition.
all you have to do is cough into the microphone and just watch the mis-identified words.
