i had try this with maximal settings in in my wilco airbus planes the plane was to fast and broken in the air than i had tried with medium and the plane dont brake in the air
i used to do this maneuver back in 2001 when i was being trained on the PC-9 fast single engine airplane at the air academy ,,, i miss those aerobatics , lol
now am about to have my a320 type rating at toulouse since i turned into civilian pilot this year after 8 yrs of c130 flying :)) great video
am going to an a320 simulator in 5 weeks time, but i don't think they'll let me do that hahaha
its quite funny how the master caution light and noise was going nuts towards the end, and wouldn't silence however many times the button was pushed haha
take off the flt restrictions on overhead panel and env. protection and the plane is the same without all the on board safety features... its a computer don't forget.. you can turn it on and off
so is anyone ready to try this in a real plane? if someone was to ask me if they wanted to try this in their airbus id do it. it worked on the simulator right?
envelope protection off i take it I managed to do the same thing in a L1011 sim got it over needed two of us pulling back on the the yoke wish we had fb
i've seen some pretty upset airbus's in my time but that just tops them all :-)

isn't it the airbus has a banking limit?

@calvin22082200 Switching off the Flight Control Computers will confuse the plane and it won't intervene.

dude!what you did there was the immelman turn.a barrel rolling implies banking the airplane to left or right until it rotates to 360 degrees.

Do a nosedive, but then save yourself and pull up as much as possible before impact!

Would'a thought 420 kts was enough, too.

You are all wanting to do the same!!! Me too hahah!!

This must be an old simulator because new airbus series wont allow them manouvers

Just turn off the FACs and you'll be able to fly the Airbus like a F-16 ;)

I didn't think an Airbus would let the pilot do this!

@jorgete25 only in FS dude, you cant get into ALT-LAW or Direct law unless there's something extremely wrong!

A320 has bank Restrictions of 67* so it cant do Barrel Rolls it also has Pitch Restictions Of 30 Pitch up And 15 Pitch down

Someone did it once on a 707 prototype...there's a few video's out there...somewhere.
Also, the test Pilot for the 777 was warned 'No Barrel Rolls' so it is possible.
Plane didn't sound to happy to be doing it though, and I'd wonder how long the wings/engine/tail would last.
