I ;ove this song. Honestl amazing everything just a perfect song in every single way. It's easy to make a song, it's hard to make a good song, it's nearly impossible to make a perfect song, and yet Norah Jones always finds a way to make all her songs perfect. It's like she's lived forever improving on her songs to make her songs perfect. She is the perfect artist, in my opinion of course.

@malaiseguy No. "The nearness of you" does not need any highlighting as a great song. You know it is after the very first listen when you got goosebumps. "Painter song" takes longer to take hold. People have to listen to it several times and then realise its a very good song indeed. So i would not add "The nearness of you" as a song to pay attention to as it is already in that category.

This song deserves more credit. Love it. Heck, i love all of CAWM Except for the 4Th one. "feeling the same way". All the other songs on that album are brilliant. Painter song is a lovely song. This and "one flight down" always overlooked it seems.
