I don't know why critics always have to bash Robert Pattinson. In my personal opinion, Little Ashes was brilliantly scripted and brilliantly played; they're being too hard on him.

I would also like to add that I agree with xdanierox, not that homophobia is "gay," (although it is wrong,) but I can't believe how much crap Rob has had to deal with because of this role. Playing the part of a gay man, does not make him gay. Even if he was gay, we should like him for his acting, not his sexuality.

i would actually recommend this movie. i was shocked at how much it moved me, i was crying quite hard towards the end. the relationship between these two guys really really got to me. i wasn't disturbed by the gay kiss/sex scenes really. there was a sex scene in there that is pretty intense and emotional though. but like i said, i loved it. more than anything i was surprised. it was very emotional and robert's character was VERY entertaining. its a touching story. sad though, very sad.
