@jeetdg2012, at the time I did this video, I erased the background image with the eraser function. This was a real pain as it took a lot of patience, time, and will power. I did this in after effects but it can also be done in photoshop. Since then, I have have discovered a new tool in After Effects CS5 callede the rotobrush. I really can't believe how much easier it is to do this now. Check out the following website because you can now do this not only with still pictures but live video!

nice 2.5D effects. I've been using Photoshop's new content aware feature to erase the background (or fill it in appropriately) to achieve the same kind of effects! Good job.
