Is there a difference from a short intake and a longer one besides that it just gets colder air front the bottom of the bumper I guess I answered my own question but the longer one sucks to install ...love ur sound tho

Man I love the sound of ur TL wen u accelerate. How much did u get this custom setup for? I was thinking about greddy Evo 2 exhaust but idk, the exhaust system on a TL mite be pushing it with the whole ricer thing. And the short ram intake is like an exhaust coming from the engine. Hella nice man. Pls respond!

if you floor it, it assumes you want more power so it lets the engine rpm get higher to give you that power before it shifts. If you drive regularly, then it would shift earlier to be fuel efficient

I love the sound woaa~ I was considering somekind of exhaust system to get that sound for my tl 07 (already have AEM CAI, but dont want the engine to suck in water.. and doesnt even make that much sound..) but I guess I will have to ask my friend if he can make customized sri. Would it work if my friend cuts my AEM cai and make it like short ram?? would i get good performance and sound?

Actually the direct market competition against the TL is the Altima SE-R. I would say that is a fair comparison.

My TL kills Maxima, 350z's on motor alone just with a AEM Intake, custom catback exhaust with flowmasters on it, and a test pipe. Maximas don't have shit in high end

Don't want to be "a sucker" here but Acura messed up with transmission. It's not made in Japan and many TLs have problems with them... I own an 05' TL and its sick!

each pc = $10, there are 2 pcs so 20 + the K&N filter which is 40, so a total of 40 dollars + the couplers which was 15 and hoses....total for me was around 60

Could you specify what parts you used other than the KN filter since i can get one of those, i just need to know how to get the clamps, coupler, and 4 or 5" pipe that fits the TL intake. Thanks
