guys, the cars are restricted with a 45mm restrictor... so they "only" have something between 500 and 600bhp... when they drive without the restrictor, they can reach something between 650 and 750bhp with those cars! thats the same with the cars from WRC... they have a smaller 35mm restrictor... so they lose much more power...

@nazgul614 Acceleration is torque, this is a basic rule of thumb ;) An F1 have a lot of HP at hi-RPM, because they have to deal with long race and long straight. These thing have power sooner, and have 4 wheel to pass it on. So, yeah, they are quicker on 0-100, they might even be able to beat some F1 at Monaco... But Monza and Montreal is F1 territory.

this is so fun to watch! and the time and mechanics involved is awesome! $75000 transmission that can go from 1 to 6 to 1 faster than a regular transmission can go from 1 to 2 haha i mean every racing class has its coolness (besides nascar) but these guys are rad!

these races have restictions. such as only 4 cilinders. thats why there isnt any camaros and mustangs and corrvettes. plus thoes arnt rally cars. they would get there asses kicked in a race like this.

@Porsche918 Well, they could go on these track... I mean, Arca does go on dirt, so I don't see why not. But they will be slower: look closely at the design of the track. This is a short road race with dirt, asphalt, maybe 17 corners in 1.6 km (I don't know precisely). These cars are made for these kind of rapid change of direction.

O.k, the Pony car would be funny but, it could even be surprising a bit... But that would have to be a category on it's own, otherwise they will get eaten alive.
