I know I read your comment, I'm saying that Zildjian cymbals are waayyyy more important than a double bass. Double bass should be a last priority quite honestly. You can have it but if you get it instead of cymbals then it's going to sound like shit. You can always half the bass notes and still get a similar sound.

Not if you shop around for them enough, If you get higher quality zildjians such as ZHT's then you can get 'em for a decent price, I found an 18" ZHT ride cymbal for 120$, to me that's a great deal.

Sabians been around since 89 or thereabouts. the owned of zildjian is the brother of the owner of sabian. the AA and AAX series (their best lines) are copies of the A customs. And at the top of the lines the K customs sound wayyy better than the HH series. Zildjian>Sabian
