These pieces, as well as the inspired way it is played, IMO evokes all of the essence of what it means to be human.
The fleeting glimpses of nameless faces in the audience tell the whole story. Especially the woman at 0:56, also at 1:31.
I have never heard 2 minds as one like the playing of these two artists.....they were in their own personal world, the moments at 4:05 and 6:26 are the definition of LOVE....too bad love does is so fleeting. Moments like this give hope though. Thank you both
@LordMSh 3rd week of August. Yup, it's a free open air concert! Google Prinsengrachtconcert and the first hit gets you to podcasts of these concerts as far back as 2004 (hint: at AVRO Klassiek)
she plays second, just compare their fingers and positions with the notes that sound.. besides she's standing at his left, they wouldn't change positions just because...
this is really good. In my opinion, stradivarius violins aren't just very finely built and have the best tone, i also feel that they resonate the feelings of the user.
truly outstnading. i commend antonio for his work and feel jealous of those who have the priveldge of playing one of his instruments
I wish I could hold a strad even for a few minutes. that would make my life as a violinist complete!
it's just so sad that these violins do not naturally last forever as they are biodegradable. I won't await for that day when they will turn to dust. U_U
I love jansen and her former bf's rendition of this piece. truly stunning. imagine how love can beautifully produce music. =)
It has nothing to do with their violins, they'd sound good on anything. They know how to match their sounds using their brains and technique. People need to stop giving so much credit to the violins great players use.
An excellent execution in all parts. Super ! stavmix

Instead of "prelude, waltz and menuet" it's "prelude, waltz and polka"
