  • NINJA TURTLES!!

  • i was kind of scared of this logo lol

  • This has got to be the most childlike, cutest logo i have EVER seen. It's just so... simple, so... so... FAMILY! (note, i'm being overly dramatic☻☺).

  • I recently watched Hanna-Barbera's Star Fairies on VHS when the Star Fairies title card/intro shows up after the FHE logo whisks away.

  • when...life...was...simple.

  • LOL, I love this old logo and have seen it soooo many times over the years thanks to all the videotapes on which I have it...but I'm really glad to find that other people have also always found it scary/unsettling!!! XD

  • Cue Ninja Turtles theme.

  • Whoa! This logo used to be on every cartoon I watched as a kid. It used to mean "CARTOON TIME!! YAY!" As a result, wow, what nostalgia!

  • ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!! TAPE HISS!!

  • This appears on my copy of "Gumby: The Movie."

  • loved this saw this so many times before watching ninja turtles

  • WTH? People found this scary? A production company logo? Huh!?

  • Cue TMNT theme.

  • @WorldChallenge

    I miss that show.

  • I Have To Buy All 11 Videocassettes Including All 5 Lady Lovelylocks Videos (Hi-Tops Video) And All 5 Ninja Turtles Videos As Well As A Star Fairies Video (Family Home Entertainment).

  • Both this intro and the Emergency Broadcast System test scare the living hell out of me. And I'm 15!!!!!!!!

  • @LaHuerca This didn't scare the shit out of me, but I'm totally with you on the Emergency Broadcast System... God I stil hate that.

  • @LaHuerca im with ya on the emergency broadcast system

  • I think I first saw this logo in a Ninja Turtles VHS... God, that logo just didn't make any sense. It was loud and slow at the same time, what the hell! :D

  • i remember this from my ninja turtles and transformers

  • OMFG I *hated* this logo as a kid... God, the nostalgia mixed with the complete *horror* of the sound of this logo... Ugh...

  • @ThePhantomSafetyPin

I'm with you on that one. Most of the logos most people find scary didn't bother me, but this one did.

  • I'm gonna make a new series called LPSO Forever (Littlest Pet Shop Online Forever) and when it ended i'm gonna use this logo

  • i have no idea why someone would think this worth posting, im not trolling i just dont get it

  • @ganon1994 To really get the point of this post, you have to have grown up on VHS tapes with this same logo.

  • i use to have some circus videos from fhe when i was little boy!!!!

  • haha yessssssssssssssssssss i just pooped my pants

  • i liked this logo in 4th/5th grade. lol. i guess im one tough cookie.

  • i remember this

  • OOPS... I ment to say 'Mirage Studios" heh....My bad.

  • Comment removed

  • I remember it when I use to watch TMNT and Gumby when I was like, 4 or 5. The background music was eerie!

  • it seems like we all watched TMNT i remember this at the end of movie.. this brings back good times.

  • Also remember it from the TMNT videos, though I don't get why so many people are scared of it.

  • Just had a volt of nostalgic surge shoot through my body!!

  • I remember this one, whenever my friends and I saw this logo come shooting up from the bottom of the screen along with the music, we just screamed our heads off, we kept rewinding it on ninja turtles and just kept screaming.

  • I remember in elementary school, we were all excited to watch Frosty the Snowman... the teacher popped the tape in and this logo came on. Needless to say, probably half of the class was crying.

  • @singinglawnchair haha - nelson

  • The DIC logo did NOT scare me when I was little.

  • @BenBopper me either.

  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles home videos

  • F.H.E STOLE TMNT From mirage studios.

  • lol, omg i remeber this logo! This brought me back

  • i had this my tmnt video case of the kiler pizzas till i had to throw it out because my dad called it waiste of money

  • But by having you throw a piece of property in the trash, that was DEFINITELY a waste of money.

I submit that your dad is very poor at math.

  • @Xiado wow this is blast from the past.

  • @mrbob879 that sucks. I still have my copy after 19 years

  • @mrbob879 i still have the VHS, it was from burger king kids club

  • Eh... I'm more of a fan of the one with the paintbrush, and the words are painted. It was released on the Christmas VHS's, like Rudolph, Frosty, etc.

  • @yungerrapper that one's hartwarming

  • I, being a child of the 80s, used to be freaked out by logos like these. For this particular one, I remember it felt like the air was being sucked out of my lungs and I remember my eyes being wide while it played. LOL But it doesn't compare to the old Emergency Broadcast System "tests." Those scared me FAR worse than this.

A couple of other logos that I remember freaking me out were the Viacom and another one that I can't remember with Morse code. The latter one sent chills down my spine.

  • The ofur one is SFM Entertainment. You oughta look it up here and face your fears like I did with the DiC logo.

  • Thank you for letting me know. It's just as creepy now as it was then!

  • @TTULangGenius i think you mean either sfm or rko

  • Seriously, am I the only person alive who was scared to death of this logo as a kid?

I used to watch the old Ninja Turtle movie as a kid. When this logo came up I would close my eyes, then when it was over I would enjoy the movie while eating a Ninja Turtle Pie ( a favorite childhood snack of mine that most people seem to have forgotten).

  • I remember those TMNT pies ("fresh from the sewers to you!")...good stuff! :-)

  • You're not alone. I was and probably would still be afraid of the intro now.

  • You're not alone. This logo scared the shit out of me! Yeah, snuggle next to your family and get introduced with this scary logo every Thursday night!

  • @powerpup97 try the Pegasus from tristar video lol

  • That takes me back. :)

  • Used from 1983 until 1993.

  • I've seen that logo on TV from Scooby-Doo and the Ghoul School at the beginning on Cartoon Network.

  • I remember when I use to write like that...and at that speed.

  • Lol Colossalbeltloop I also remember it and I also remember when computers use to use that type of paper.

  • Speaking of f.h.e. videos in the 80s, does anyone remember an animated video they did about a lamb whose mother is killed by a wolf, and who decides afterward that he will become a wolf so that he can never be victimized again? I always remember it because it was such a terribly sad story and yet the animation was totally captivating.

  • You're remembering " Ringing Bell," aka "Chirin's Bell/Bell of Chirin," released by Sanrio in 1978.

Someone named ChirinWolf has uploaded the whole movie, if you want to see it again.

  • wow! Thank you SO much!

  • You're welcome!

  • brings back the old VHS days

  • speechless...i remember gumby...do you remember gumby...good ol gomby.

  • This logo is just scary.

  • You said it dude. After seeing this bastard of an 80s VHS logo, and watching The Transformers, I felt SOOOO better after that! What really scared the living shit out of me was not only the yellow screen, but the music. Ugggh! It was fucking freaky to see this sequence before watching the Autobots and the Decepticons kick some ass! But no, you're on the same boat with me. This logo is also why I hated the color yellow. EVERY Transformers fan knows what I'm talking about here.

  • Never thought that classic nightmares could be good memories. Ironic, isn't it? Two of the greatest Hasbro cartoons, The Transformers and GI Joe VHS's had this logo. Now at age 20, I'm not afraid of this logo.

  • I had this logo in my teenage mutant ninja turtles tapes!

  • Yeah and I actually liked it. why are these other people scared of a logo.

  • Classic and still the best.

  • from teenage mutant ninja turtles 2. I think I still have it...

  • Actually, it's from damn near everything put onto VHS in the eighties.

  • really? didnt know that...

  • I mentally cue the first season intro for Transformers after the FHE logo whisks away, because I spent a lot of time watching FHE Transformers tapes when I had access to a VCR back in 1986.

  • @Xiado hey same here buddy, ive got like six of those tapes still. had them since '90.

  • @Xiado I always associated the FHE logo with my Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles tapes. I remember Invasion of the Turtle Snatchers was one of them. It always came after the Burger King Kid's Club ad.

  • @yellowdiva21 I remember if from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles also. It was the first thing I thought of, specifically the episode where April O'Neill has a look-a-like who is a princess.

  • Oh, man. I practically cry when I hear this music. Those were good times.

  • Old School Home Video Logo!!!
