Nice box art. Looks well made. I've checked out the game since I'm an RE fan and this was a neat gem on the Famicom I first heard about in a Retro Gamer mag. I think any fan of RE and old 8-bit RPG's is going to love this game. Looks like a nice Repo all together there.

I'm not going to lie, I think thats one of the most badass cartridges I've ever seen. It's boxed incredibly well, it's blood red and the cover is holographic and I'm seriously in awe. I think that might be one of the rarest things I've seen in your collection (in my opinion) even though its reproduced I would seriously cherish that.

Up until last gen, buy a game, get a box, box art, most had full color 12+ page manuals, some had maps included, ads for merch or start guides, and even a separate safety manual, which doesn't matter but it's the principle.

I think that packaging is too shiny, it does not look like a legit retro game but more like a cheap reproduction cartridge.

I think every third-party cartridges should be grey. A gimmick like a cartridge recolouring is usually sign of compensation of something that actually matters. Nevertheless, I think the last battle of the game is huge gimmick in a form of item-using puzzle. I think it is still better than the sissy-ass praying you had to do with the last boss of Earthbound. :[

Capcom should release this translated and released on the Virtual Console, even if we have to wait until the Wii U for it. If Nintendo could do it with Sin and Punishment and have such major success Capcom can do the same thing, especially if Resident Evil was heavily inspired by this game and there are several survival horror fans who would would buy it for its charm.

and 1 last comment, this is one of the few games that combines RPG with Horror (the only ones i can think of being Koudelka (you might be interest in this one, the prequel to Shadow Hearts that really tries to be a horror game while being a turn based RPG, was released in the west for the PS1), the Original Shadow Hearts (the other 2 games seem to say "fuck it" with trying to be scary.), and Parasite Eve.
