I never really appreciated this as a child-I don't think its Sunday teatime slot helped (thinking about school the next day!)

But now I think its wonderful!

Pertwee is really superb in the role-and the scripting is excellent.

The use of film and proper location rather than studio makes a tremendous difference too.

Excellent.
