Most of the episodes are available to watch on STV's YT pages. I've started with the original from feb 1980 and am up to about October of that year.

Take the High Road tapes were not wiped because the 1980s episodes were repeated on Sky Soap a few years ago.

Thats nice to know. A lot of stuff was still being wiped even in the 90s, like tony hart shows (poor morph), rentaghost and all of the noel gay TV productions. Ah well!

I doubt they'll ever show it on STV again. They stopped doing repeats in the middle of the night when all those quiz shows started, and let's face it that's the only time they would have shown High Road, you know what they're like.
