Mate I have a music ap on my I phone and it teaches you the stave...it takes tome but it's fun and after a while you will begin to read music...just stick at it....I play it on the bus or Train it's just repitition...I'm learning I giorni by reading the music...it's taking time but my ambition is to play this masterpiece....good job man! Einaudi is a beautiful composer and his music is so passionate.

Wherever you found the sheet music from toby, it is incorrect, i have the einaudi sheet music book with me and you are missing a section out.

you need to pay more attention to the balance of your hands. at the beginning the left hand should really be pianissimo and the right hand, mezzo piano in order to bring out the melody.

I think you should be conscious of the left hand, and it's volume. I think in I Giorni it's important to bring out the right hand as the melody, and right now it sounds like the bass (left hand) is coming through too much at the beginning especially.

Maybe something to think about.

anyways, I love the piece. Yes, the tempo is a bit fast, but every pianist has their little quirk with playing. It is still an excellent rendition; especially for having learned from primarily watching videos on youtube. Very impressive.

I think it's clear who exactly seems to be the chump in this situation. You must be speaking of a different grade 2, considering Ludovico Einaudi has much more musical competence than a grade 2. Yes, I Giorni is a fairly simple song in comparison to his other compositions, but it is definitely not a grade 2.

i can't read music and have never taken any grades, but it might be grade 4-6 ish in level? It's easy enough to pick up and is quite repetative.

Einaudi music is simplistic in format, but the way he makes the music sound the way it does through the melody and ensuring he uses the correct chords for the job and generally composing this amount emotion into his music takes something more than general talent, according to you, anyone could compose like einaudi, if so, then why arn't people doing so?

Why do people continue to play his music?

Einaudi would never claim to writing complex pieces, he would claim to writing beautiful music.
