  • how did you get him to be so tame

  • cute uro im getting a mali soon

  • where did u get yours and for how much?

  • mine was 300 cdn I would buy a captive bred from a reputable breeder not a pet shop.

  • how much would they be in the uk??? and does anyone know where i can buy one in the uk?

  • Only bu a Captiv bred from a breeder. don't buy a wild caught if o can. do plenty of research before you buy. I have heard up in the UK there is a 80% death rate in the first year, however I'm skepticle on this claim. They are long lived 30+ years and require Huge enclosures for an adult.

  • Bare minimum would be an 8x4 for a 2 foot Aegyptia and 12x6 for a 3 foot etc... bigger would be better. they need very specific care and a varied diet. hey are not the easest to keep but if you are dedecated they make excellent pets

  • he is about the same size as my mali

  • im getting a rainbow uro

  • caan i use cage carpet as bedding?

u said 20 gal was a deathtrap but if i turned off he light every once ina whil can it reliese the heat a little???

  • no use paper towel until it is at least 8 inches long. carpet will get their nails caught and they can break toes.after it is 7-8 inches use washed sifted playsand (not man made) beach sand that has been baked works,or slate tiles.with a larger tank the lizard will be able to adjust it's body temperature at it's opwn pace. how can you know whenm it needs heat or not? you cannot... the only way is to have a large tank and get the temp right and let him do it on his own.

  • how big is the minimum requirement tank size foor a baby im saving up for a uro

  • what species are you getting? there are many drawbacks to small enclosures. get a big one right from the start and you will have a healthier Uro. small tanks can stunt growth, cause all kinds of physical and mental illness, and in some circumstances death. sometimes slow painful a few years down the road because they cannot get excercize to digest food and absorb nutrients effectively. small species buy a 6x2x2 and Egyptian buy or build a 8x4x4.

  • thanks!

  • what do you use for substrate?

  • so cute when he or she was sitting on the vent with the back legs out lol that lizard sure was going to show them green things whos the boss around there! haha

  • yeah she eats 2 overflowing plates of greens every day and to tell you the truth I have no idea where she puts it LOL. I have 3 staples fed daily and try and get 3 different rotationals each week to keep the diet varied.

  • i know huh! haha they can pack in the food! hey you should make a video up showing how you make their food and which foods are good to use most of the time and sometimes with tips like my feeding videos then we can add them so if someone who has an ig and a uro or find my video they will find yours on how to feed uros just like if someone asks me about savs i sent them to kaffir2 on here even a lighting video showing what lights u use and how many with temps would be great

  • These lizards look so awesome, 5* cool feeding footage!

  • thanks I have a new video of Segira you should checkout she/he is getting big FAST LOL

my 17 yr tabby cat is meowing in the backround on this vid LOL

  • Don't those get giant, the egyptian ones?

  • yeah about 3 feet

  • Cute little guy how hold is he or she ?
