Came back from a trip a while back from there. First thing they did was take me out for some Hotpot. Loved it, but it was just so spicy for me, still ate it, still regreted it later, but loved it.

you have to try Chongqing hotpot, I have just got back to the UK after almost a year living there with my Chinese wife. yes, it is very hot indeed..

all the Chinese I met there, friends and family of my wife, showed me a wonderful hospitality, we were taken out many times for meals and never allowed to pay.

I made many nice friends there. just hope to go back soon.

oh, they do wash the chopsticks, I never caught anything from eating with chopsticks there.

I would so love to try hot pot. You have to go to China, you cannot get it in the US. People who have been to China tell me the food is wonderful, not at all like that bland watered-down Cantonese stuff served in American Chinese restaurants.

actually,pepole put all the food in side,different taste.i love chongqing hotpot ,it likes the three meals a day.if u travel to chongqing,hotpot is must

One year ago i've been to china, near chengdu in the city Xindu. We where also eating hot pot there. And i have to say, there is nothing in germany to find that easy that is that much spicy. It burned like hell, but it was tasty, with the help of good Snow Beer.;) :)
