I dug up a Lauren Harris interview with Ellefson, however there was no talk of Ellefson rejoining Megadeth and not being able to because of a hospital treatment. Do you have a link to the interview your talking about?

That's cool, you must be either a bass player, or an Ellefson fan. I met him in 2006 and he was really cool. In email though, he was hard to talk to, and I felt he got rude once...oh well, he's still my biggest bass influence. Later.....

Even though i think he was wrong to sue mustaine, it was fucked up that junior cant say "megadeth" and just has to leave 18 years out of his interviews. Mustaine should just "let" lomenzo go (fire his ass) and get back the rust in peace lineup (doubt friedman would join, but broderick plays flawlessly)

ellefson has always been the better guy than mustaine and will always probably will. it's a shame he was betrayed from the band that he started out from the beginning, left him hang to dry. but i'm glad he's got a band now and still active on music.

ellefson never gave up megadeth until mustaine announced he is breaking up the band cause of his lousy arm injury, but secretly started back megadeth and hiring different people with him and not informing ellefson about it.

and where did u hear this?? when mustaine started the band up again, he called Marty, Nick Menza, and David Ellefson. learn yer shit. and i dont think you have the slightest idea of daves injury either right? the doctor said he couldnt use his left arm, which is a huge part of playing guitar. So tell me how is Mustaine being lousy??

he called marty, ellefson, menza? that's the biggest joke i've ever heard, ellefson sued him cause mustaine continued megadeth without him being informed, i think as an integal member of the band, he did the right thing, but eventually they settled things personally, dude i like megadeth, i just don't like mustaine's attitude, he's got no feelings with his band members.

No mustaine was sued because ellefson said he was being getting enough royalties on the songs they wrote. you cant sue someone for not being informed. Mustaine has commented on this issue in interviews on the release of system and why there were no original members on it. your just an idiot.
