Brody, the first time I ran across YBR vids was about 8 mths ago. I thought I have to check this band out next time I'm in Vegas. Of course, found out you left. Please go back. @OrdoPsykana Id like to take the time to STRONGLY DISAGREE. I think most cover musicians that put their own spin on other's songs do so because they can not truly play it perfect without error. It really shows the true value of a musician to be able to match tones perfectly. Hell most musicians now days dont even sound like they do on their own albums when they perform live. And some purists believe that masterpieces should not be changed. So dont listen to that guy.

@matndale John Mayer did a cover of Free Fallin', it sounds beautiful and I would recommend you check it out because it's a good example of what I mean by a unique cover, there's a lot more going on in it than just 'putting a spin on it', a unique part of John Mayer is in that song. There's very little talent involved in replicating, the true talent is in the creating, I watch brody and I see nothing different than what I see on X-Factor; very good karaoke.

I have heard him play stevie ray vaughan and he screws up the guitar everytime, and not by putting his own spin on it, it just actually sounds terrible. @matndale I've heard David Gray, Michael Stipe (REM), Chris Martin (Coldplay) and Paul McCartney all do their own versions of other peoples songs and they're not exact copies like this one, they inject a little bit of themselves and create soemthing unique; a true cover. Talent, like those I have just named, is about being a creative person, all art is about taking a creative journey and exploring it. It's not a competition on who can copy who the best.
