There is a fable titled the "The Tortoise and The Hare." It's about a preconceived favorite who was thought so highly of and who thought so highly of himself. The two raced each other with the knowledge that the hare was faster. Nonetheless the tortoise quietly gave his best effort from start to finish while the hare thought all it had to do was show occasional brilliance. The tortoise won the race.
The moral of the story is there is more to an accomplishment than occasional brilliance.

After seeing her playing 1500m yesterday she reminded me of OH~NO! She is a female version of him. Hopefully other US female skaters arent like her, I saw couple hot ones there ;)

They really talk up Meng Wang in this race, but Reutter did a textbook tactical race. Meng Wang was working hard to pass when she fell, not sure she could have gotten both of them
