  • that is the first time i ever heard Tim get that low. its amazing!! i just wish they had turned up his mic

  • At the very end of the video, does Eric say "I love you big man" or "Double low E big man"?

  • @dddmauld he said i love you man. now if only they would have had Tims mic up he would have blew eric off the stage in my opinion

  • Only one great bass... Tim Riley! (Tim doesn't fry & he said if he can't hit the notes he doesn't sing 'em!)

  • @NateAlex10 Lol he said that exact same thing to me after one of their concerts.

  • yey, a duo, great!

  • 2 great basses Eric and Tim

  • I don't get what the big hype is over Eric Bennet is. Not just n this video, but in general. He frys everything below about a Bb1 and sounds like he's always sucking in air on notes. I think he inhales almost everynote in the "bass" range. Also, I may be a huge bass singing fan, but he goes low TOO much. Every note is below a C2. He inhales all of them!!!!!!!!! I'm so glad the Kingdom Heirs picked up Jeff Chapman. Other than George Younce and Tim Riley, Jeff is my favorite bass.

  • @dabeinman Eric can go to about a G1 in full voice. He did once hit an Eb1 in full voice (the song is Terrible Time Down There, at the very end), but I'd be willing to bet that was on a really good day or something.

But you're right about this song....for some reason Eric seems to sing extra rough on this song. All his notes in the harmonies sound like mixed voice at most, and he fries quite often)....but since he can usually get down to G1 in full/mixed voice, I think it's intentional here.

  • @dabeinman Your wrong about Mr. Bennett. You may be a fan of bass singing, but you are not a bass singer and I feel you are talking out of turn here. Eric Bennett is a true bass singer, he may used mixed voice on the lowest stuff he sings. A lot of bass singers do. He does not inhale his notes. There is a distinctive hiss sound that is picked up by a mic when that happens. He doesn't go as low as much as you think. He has a unique sound and you crucify him for it. Grow up kid!

  • @DJRanchIncorperated I have a right to my own opinion. You may think I'm wrong, but considering it is an opinion, I can't be wrong. I have realized since then he does not inhale all of his notes, while it does sound like it sometimes. He does go low as much as I think. And I would not crucify anybody for any reason. You need to grow up and stop bashing people for their opinions. Have a nice day.

  • @dabeinman No-one is bashing you ya dumb kid. When you say, and I quote " Every note is below a C2. He inhales all of them " and another "He frys everything below about a Bb1" That is not opinion but statement's of fact... Eric is a great guy who sings with his heart and really has an impressive range. All i'm saying is grow up, quit acting like a fricken know it all. If you don't like Eric, thats cool, Don't bash him unless your willing to make a video and show us all how it's done...

  • @DJRanchIncorperated Your calling me a kid yet you started an unnecessary fight and are calling me names? Who's the kid in this situation. I meant those first statements as an opinion and since then my views have changed. I think he is a great guy and a good singer. I don't think he is a great singer, but he is singing about the best thing there is. God. I was hoping that last comment of mine would end this pointless fight but apparently not.

  • @dabeinman The last thing I wanted to do was start a fight. All I did was tell you that I think you are wrong and YOU elevated this thing. Let it go kid! This is a lose lose for both of us.... We both agree that Jeff Chapman is a kick butt singer. Lets walk away from this agreeing on something friend.....

  • @DJRanchIncorperated Sounds great. I'm glad we could still be friends.

  • At first I thought Tim was frying that E1 (that'd have been the first time I saw him not use his full voice, lol).

Youtuber biglhot75 told me he thought otherwise, so I listened to it again and it seems fried at first, but if you listen to the end he seems to be doing a mixed voice kind of thing (there's more tone in it than you hear with fry). I think Tim could hit the E1 and lower with full voice if he tried.

  • @GamingDrummer89 Tim told me him self that he could hit E1 (lower than Rainbow of Love) but prefers G1

  • @bassman3294 He told me after a concert that his lowest ever was actually Eb1. I think that'd be cool to see Gold City drop the key on Rainbow of Love one more step so he'd go to F1!

  • @GamingDrummer89 i agree! its funny how Eric is like eatin the mic on the low notes and Tim just nails em with ease. its looks like he aint even tryin at the end

  • Tim Riley and Eric Bennett. there's a duo I'd love to see live. :)

  • good grief..

  • Tim Riley hits an E below Low C (aka E1). I think this may be the only time he has ever done this on the stage. Fantastic

  • 3:35, Danny, Scott, and Clayton's facial expressions crack me up when they hear the low notes. lol

  • Nice low note at the end.
