This shocks, how can Americans be so arrogant as to presume they have a good system and just simply say the health systems of Europe are a "mess", oh how their young country has a lot to learn from the old world.

An old world which has healthcare for all, higher living standards, better education, less pollution and ultimately happier people! But I suppose our socialist ways in Europe are evil so no point in even listening to us...

The Republican strategist says that Moore suggests there is a free lunch. I think that is a fair statement. Moore does make it out to be some utopia in some European countries. I think he was over reaching there. He should have simply stuck with the need for universal health care.

I take it you think Australia's system is bad. I doubt it is worse than the U.S., where we have to pay the insurance companies a lot each month and then fight them to actually pay for services when we are sick (those who have health insurance).

The Norwegian government must love its citizens. My wonderful place of employment offered me a ONE WEEK paid vacation after one year of hard labor.

As all 3 Scandinavian countries, Norway puts all citizens first. Yes we pay more tax, but we get a lot in return, including 4 weeks paid holiday.
