just a fyi before u dance a hula try to learn the meaning.... when the song talks about ocean and your doing movements for travel or mountain thats whats embarrassing.... try lookin at Huapala.org its a awsome website for translation of songs. if you dont understand the words or the meaning contact the composer direct.... many ways to find the pure meaning of the composers intetions before creating a dance that reflects nothing of the songs meaning... but i give u a A for effort.....

Embarrassing?! There is no copyright on the motions. There are many people, Polynesian and Non-Polynesian, in this world that do not have the access or complete knowledge to the songs, dances and language to the Hawaiian culture but they LOVE Hawaii and ALL she offers! This may be the only way they can let the world know of her beauty. This group is not mocking the dance are they? NO! So there is nothing wrong with what they are doing! Good job group!!
