haha i lived in suriname, you may want to get checked for diseases after crawling on that street ;) The street dogs always bothered me there. There was a dog once, that had half of his skull missing, you could see his brain etc. He wandered the neighborhood 7 days and nights while people laughed and kicked at him and threw rocks while his head rotted and he died.

During my time there, I was fascinated by the hundreds of stray dogs that roamed the streets of the capital city, Paramaribo. While I lived in Paramaribo,I felt penetrated by the dirt, the heat, and the rain. I wondered what it would be like to offer myself to the city, on my hands and knees. I chose the stray dog as my metaphor and my character in this performance.
