She believes the Earth is flat, because the bible says so and the shape of the Earth is "Unimportant in her life". 3. She beleives that "Nothing predates the Christians" insisting there have always been Christians, even before the birth of Christ.

What I'm curious about is why are people so hateful and mean-spirited towards Sherri? Nobody is perfect and we all are learning. We get to be privy to what she doesn't know because she's on a talk show. So, how many of us could stand up to the scrutiny of giving our viewpoint every day? How many of us have the courage to admit we don't know somethng? We all need to back off and stop all the vitriolic comments. I understand what you're saying. The Bible indicates that Jesus was there during the formation of our world and us. So, in that way of thinking, nothing predates Jesus. But, I think Sherri was thinking that Christianity predated any other religion, which is incorrect. God's chosen people were descendents of Abraham, the Israelites. But, there were many religions during that time and many gods. Jesus was a Jew from the line of David. Christianity began after he died and was resurrected.
