  • What is the max. size video card would fit in this?

  • @54carlje I do not have the exact dimensions on it. I tried to find them on the website but no go. It does support full size ATX motherboards so the card can be as long as the motherboard before it would hit the hard drive bays. Right now I am running a full size ATI X850XT card with plenty of room to spare.

  • This case is sitting in my Newegg cart. Once I figure out everything I want to order it will host my HTPC with my old q6600 intel system. Finally I have a use for these old computers.

  • @myriadcorp That would be a wonderful use of your Q6600. We use ours every day. I wonder how we ever did without it now.

  • Thank you for posting this review. It really helped me pull the trigger on buying this case. I just put together a new gaming rig and decided to put all my old hardware into a HTPC. Figured it would be better than leaving it in my attic. Ideally i would have one of them Zalmans but can't really justify putting hardware from 5 years ago into a case that is half a grand. I think this case will suit my needs. Ordered the LCD display as well. Thanx again for the review.

  • @silky19kilo You are very welcome. I am using this case for my HTPC and love it. I did the same thing and used some 5 year old computer stuff that came out of the wife`s old computer to build it. It work`s great and we use it every day.

  • I just ordered this case as as part of my new i core 7 HTPC build to replace my current pentium 4 HTPC within a Thermaltake Tenor case (silver). I'ts been going strong for 5 years now but it's time to take advantage of new cases and technologies. I cant wait to put this thing together and see a difference in performance.

I know that this case is not the top of the line but it much better than some of the other crap out there that costs even more. I paid $69 for mine and i'm sure i'll love it.

  • @s2000julius How exciting. I hope to be building one this winter myself. Which video card are you going with?.

I agree that there are probable nicer cases out there. But for the price you just cant go wrong with one of these. Ton`s of options for a case of that price. Did you order the optional lcd display to go with it ?.

  • @s2000julius Wow that is going to be sweet. That is a lot more then I plan on putting into mine. But that is mainly because I am saving up for a new TV to hook it up to :-)

  • @FUzzyBUnnyBOoties

Thanks. I attached 2 vids of my new nMedia build. hope thats ok? I also change up the hardware a bit and it turned out beautiful.

  • @s2000julius Sweet. I just approved the videos. Thank you for sharing them. I will be able to watch them a little later. I am looking forward to it.

  • Cool vids!

  • @ComputerTechTV Thank you very much Rick :-)

  • How does this case feel? is it cheap. alot of people have been complaining about the flip cover on the front that it feels cheap.

  • @xSBxUltrax I have read that also. And I really didnt notice that. I mean of course it is not as strong as a really solid gaming case but then again it wasnt designed to be. It is a metal cover and seems to work well. But that is just my opinion. It didnt seem like it would bend or be any sort of a problem.

  • Great showcase! I am getting the nMedia 5000B for my next HTPC (microATX).

  • @doomtomb3 Thank you very much. :-)

The 5000B is very nice. I think you will be very happy with it.

  • You KNOW you're got a quality product, when the description on the box says:

    "...or ATX MotherBAORD"

    "ExpNAsion - 7 PCU slots".

I mean, how hard it is to spellcheck, when you sell your crap internationally? If you go on newegg (Item#:N82E16811204037) and see the pic of the box - its got same spelling probRem. And the reviews aren't too positive.

P.S. I hope you got it cheap or free, man. This looks more like a minitower, then HTPC. This is big.

  • @zver711 I noticed that also. They do come right from china. So somethings did not get translated right.

I read some of the reviews on them also. As well as the other cases and I have to say I really dont understand why people were so unhappy with them. They are not bad cases at all. But if you look up anything at NewEgg there will be negitive reviews. I learned a long time ago not to let the reviews stop me from getting stuff.

Yes it is a very big case

  • @FUzzyBUnnyBOoties

You are correct. Everything has negative reviews, but I usually look at the % of the negative plus what concrete problems they describe.

  • @zver711 That is about all a person can do to try to narrow down their chance of getting something bad.

The problem with reviews are that most people that never have a problem with something dont bother to take the time to fill out the review on it. So most of the time it is only people that have had problems that want to rant about it. So it kind of makes it seem like something has a lot more negatives replys then it really does. Because of the thousands of happy customers that never posted

  • @FUzzyBUnnyBOoties

Heh, yeah, I know. I actually try balancing this out and fill out positive reviews on Amazon on NewEgg on stuff I bought, but they don't always post them. And on NewEgg especially for some reason.

  • @zver711 I have had the same problem with NewEgg. After trying several times to post a review on some stuff I just gave up and dont even bother any more.

  • What video software do you use? nice case buy the way, are you going to use that in a upcoming build?

  • @SylentCommando I use windows movie maker for the videos. And the intro was done with After Effects.

Yes I do plan on building a HTPC some time soon.
