This is bull-$#!+ about the loss of American jobs. Before this "crisis" GM and Ford were already abandoning many plants in the US. Guess what happened... Toyota bought them and employed those people again, but this time a CEO with a conscience and concern for all is in charge.
You cannot simply undo 40 years of bad decision-making by asking me to buy an american car.

what about the profit of the stockholders? Who owns GM stock? What about ford having a plant in Brazil? You think because corporate profit comes to America and all the jobs are overseas that it is an American co. It does not benifit the people of America one bit.
