I've watched it in Japanese dubbing. The voice acting of the Heroes and Villains did a terrific job! I enjoyed their acting. Just want to let you know. :D

That was fast, I really admire this anime, such an old school movie that really made me love "Fist of the North Star". Like I said, One of my FAVORITE cult anime films.

The reason there were moments that were hard to see was because you have the old version of the copy. Discotek released a restored version of the film.

Also, the english dub didn't follow the story of the original japanese version. In fact, Streamline, with their dubbing knowledge, removed any story and character development to make way for marketing purposes.

The japanese version is far superior in my opinion. with better voices, though some \VAs like Jagi's didn't reprise their roles.

You're right but it should be known that Discotek had to release it again due to complaints about the subtitle translations as Toei actually forced them to use the script that they sent them for the original DVD instead of using someone who's familiar with the Japanese version of the movie to translate it. Both versions had different cover art on the front with the original being black and the new DVD (which i own) being orange.
