The people that are calling OOB a dump you prob haven't been there much, certain parts of the summer it may seem a bit grubby but it all has to do with the people that come in. Go during end of summer or even in winter to walk around and its breath taking. And the person that posted about Daytona I had to live down there for three months for a missions trip and its the say way yes its beautiful but theres also trashy parts and people that damage its rep.
And who are you to ay that our town is a dump? we are working hard to make it so you can;t smoke or walk dogs on the beach but the problem is getting the word out to the tourist in the summer. So yes we have been working on it, and you should have more respect for our town. We love it here and we try to make it better for people like you. So please if you dont have anything worthy to say then dont say anything.
@JoeJupiter Ogunquit is nice, old orchard is dirty like Hampton is, daytona on the other hand is beautiful, so mr Joe Jupiter feel free to move all the cigarette butts and dog feces out of the way on old orchard to make room for your towel......
@bajabilly2004 That's funny, I mean, there are cigarette butts on Old Orchard beach like any other beach but not enough to cause any fuss. And in all my days of visiting Old Orchard I haven't met a single person who complained. So once again, Stay away if all of those cigarette Butts and dog crap are distressing you ans stop complaining.
@leafsaregod same here! I live in Augusta, its really like 65 minutes from here. But you can always count on 295 through portland being conjested in the summer. so 90ish most of the time.
