The fire is Tre-Semme hiar spray. It works really good as an intermediate pyro-technic effect. The hidden compartment was fun to do. I just shot an actual picture of the shelf and then removed everything. I mounted the picture on some foam core and voila. I just slide it back and forth. I was really surprised to find how seamless the effect was.

Oh, the burgers looked so delicious, I felt my tummy reach out to the screen and claw for it. :) What was the brown powder you sprinkled over the patty before brushing over the sauce? Is the sauce used as direct barbeque/grilling sauce, or is it like a concentrate that needs to be incorporated with other liquids? :)

Hey Cai, The powder was just a standard season salt. The sauce is very hot though, so if you're going to dress it the way I did, you need to have a palette for spicy foods.

I hope you had a great New Year too. No, Doritos didn't pan out. I knew the competition would be incredibly tough and although I did a very good job (IMHO :-]), I know it didn't rise to the standard necessary for SUPERBOWL. Though considering the 6 finalists that Doritos chose, some peers have made an argument on my behalf. (I got good buddies, ha ha ha).
