This watch do get noticed, that's for sure. Most people don't really notices watches or know what Patek Philippe, JLC, IWC etc is, and thinks Grand Seiko is just a really big Seiko. Well, this watch draws attention, mission accomplished. Plus, Hangzhou do make beautiful looking large movements. I'll give invicta credit for using a large movement in a large watch. There is nothing funnier than a enormous 55mm case filled with a puny movement and a enormous plastic spacer.

P.S. a gold plated watch doesn't have that much more gold on it. Gold plating is done through electroplating so it has a VERY thin layer of gold. It wouldn't make more than a £10-30 difference on the price of the watch.

Also you problem with the gold plating isn't solvable. Gold Plating wears out relatively fast. Its pretty much unavoidable. Buy gold filled or solid gold, it last longer and isn't as expensive as you might expect. 9ct gold is actually pretty affordable.

I have the same watch in Stainless with a rose gold skeleton movement. You're right about one thing. This watch brings out the heavy hitters when I 'm in the streets. Everyone wants to know who I am and what brand watch I'm wearing. I've gotten special treatment just from the watch. What's on your wrist can open up certain doors for you.

@561neko Swiss watches were considered 2nd or 3rd tier until quite recently (since the 70s). American watches, like Hamilton (now Swiss owned and made) were the top of the line. Rolex was made in America as well. Indeed, I can't think of a moment in the 20th or 21st century that the Swiss dominated. Most of the 20th was America, clearly since the 1960s it's been Seiko/Japan. The Swiss don't even dominate Europe, where German watches easily outshine them.

Regardless of what you think about the Swiss, most Invicta products are largely Chinese made, even if a few parts are bought from Switzerland. Invicta doesn't actually make anything.
Invicta's robbing people asking $2100 for a watch like this. It has a nice movement yet an inexpensive one. Plus plating things in gold is different than the case actually being rose gold. Plating the case in gold is relatively inexpensive as well. A U-Boat would be a much better watch for the money.

im a girl and im absolutely in love with this watch, i just wish they still had the medium sized ones with the white on rose gold for women, but I cant find one anywhere:( So i have been even thinking of getting this one but my wrist is super tiny and am pretty sure it will look way over the top. I am just getting into watches... I want one that is big and for lack of a better term good looking. It has to be under 300 and needs to be durable, water resistant, and flashy but not cocky. Do you have any ideas or do you suggest this watch?
@m4assualtrifle - This watch is EXTREMELY COCKY & FLASHY!!! I recommend you go with the Nixon 51-30 that I did in my other review. I believe it's the best watch for around $400 that fits any situation from the corporate environment, gym, dating, everyday wear, etc.

But I searched it on Amazon and it was indeed $495 but it was actually selling for $75-$100 (85% discount on Amazon). Is the watch really worth $495? or is it some sort of a trick where they advertised at $495 but sell it at or less than $100 and they claim it's on a discount? I have this watch in the cheaper variety with the Chinese SEA-GULL Mechanical Movement because I can't afford the $500+ price for this variety right now and love mine, so enjoy yours. It truly is a great watch.

But over time I worked my way out of that brand and I now have a Breitling Chronomat(luv it, luv it), Omega Seamaster, and a Tag Link diver....Invicta is a tainted brand to me-if one wanted to google it they would learn there are are tons of defective invicta watches out there....
The original Russian divers as worn by Soviet frogmen were actually made from the clock movements from tanks. They didnt have resources to develop something smaller due to the war effort. Thats why they were so big (like around 60mm).

I own a Titan as well. In silver... The major drawback to these watches is the band; it's much too small. If your wrist is over 8" fuggetaboutit... LoL My wrist is 9+"... No problem though; I put a black 26mm NATO strap on it. The NATO strap really makes it "pop" and gives it a real "millitary" look. Nice Unitas movement too... Get that lackluster band off of there and put a NATO on that bad boy!

Being a strength coach, I am a fairly muscular guy so this watch "fits" me well cuz I like that big, bossy, powerful, appearance that the watch embodies. When I worked in the club district, I met thousands of people & every last one of them were in "shock & awe" of the watch, both guys and girls. But then Flava Flav use to wear a clock around his neck...lol

When I worked in the club district, there were many guys gritting their teeth with clenched jaws of jealousy and regret because they had spent $10-20K on Breitlings and Uboat watches that never even got noticed when in the presence of this mighty Invicta beast of a watch. A lawyer with a $15K Breitling once told me he felt like he got ripped off after seeing my watch.

@561neko Swiss watches were considered 2nd or 3rd tier until quite recently (since the 70s). American watches, like Hamilton (now Swiss owned and made) were the top of the line. Rolex was made in America as well. Indeed, I can't think of a moment in the 20th or 21st century that the Swiss dominated. Most of the 20th was America, clearly since the 1960s it's been Seiko/Japan. The Swiss don't even dominate Europe, where German watches easily outshine them.

Regardless of what you think about the Swiss, most Invicta products are largely Chinese made, even if a few parts are bought from Switzerland. Invicta doesn't actually make anything.

Invicta's robbing people asking $2100 for a watch like this. It has a nice movement yet an inexpensive one. Plus plating things in gold is different than the case actually being rose gold. Plating the case in gold is relatively inexpensive as well. A U-Boat would be a much better watch for the money.

im a girl and im absolutely in love with this watch, i just wish they still had the medium sized ones with the white on rose gold for women, but I cant find one anywhere:( So i have been even thinking of getting this one but my wrist is super tiny and am pretty sure it will look way over the top. hey how good are Invicta watches? I received an Invicta watch "Invicta Men's 6620 II Collection Chronograph " and the suggested retail price on the tag was $495. But I searched it on Amazon and it was indeed $495 but it was actually selling for $75-$100 (85% discount on Amazon). Is the watch really worth $495? or is it some sort of a trick where they advertised at $495 but sell it at or less than $100 and they claim it's on a discount? First of all in your own description you seem to feel the need to put down people who have 10 000 dollar watches by saying they tucked their tales between their legs when they saw your watch. Sorry to tell you but no one with a panerai or IWC or urwerk is going to tuck their tails when they see an invicta. You don;t even seem to know whether your watch has sapphire crystal or mineral crystal, what kind of music it is etc...

The original Russian divers as worn by Soviet frogmen were actually made from the clock movements from tanks. They didnt have resources to develop something smaller due to the war effort. Thats why they were so big (like around 60mm).

I own a Titan as well. In silver... The major drawback to these watches is the band; it's much too small. If your wrist is over 8" fuggetaboutit... LoL My wrist is 9+"... No problem though; I put a black 26mm NATO strap on it. The NATO strap really makes it "pop" and gives it a real "millitary" look. Nice Unitas movement too... Get that lackluster band off of there and put a NATO on that bad boy!

Being a strength coach, I am a fairly muscular guy so this watch "fits" me well cuz I like that big, bossy, powerful, appearance that the watch embodies. When I worked in the club district, I met thousands of people & every last one of them were in "shock & awe" of the watch, both guys and girls. When I worked in the club district, there were many guys gritting their teeth with clenched jaws of jealousy and regret because they had spent $10-20K on Breitlings and Uboat watches that never even got noticed when in the presence of this mighty Invicta beast of a watch. A lawyer with a $15K Breitling once told me he felt like he got ripped off after seeing my watch.
