I love this song. Once I figured out the pattern, this was a piece of cake. I personally think anything like this done for Chapter Eight in the Sky would have been 2346174932792 times worse...I also love Second Chapter Sky...8D Loved this game, and Sorrowborn is my favorite weapon, with Moonfire and Reaper's Scythe next. Oh, I wish I had them in real life! That would be soooo dangerous, but awesome to put up in my house.
To me...this is a music whom made me go insane...for 3 days straight...*remember the rage breaks out at his home and killing sprees with a mini-gun* Good Ol' times...
Those bell chimes always got stuck in my head. I didn't know it was actually the chapter's song. I wasn't paying attention enough, just focused on colors & the right pattern then... xD Now that I can listen to the chimes without stressing, it sounds epic.
@PLAL1057 If Drakengard the game really was made in Tokyo, then I guess it really would be the Land of Gods, where all of Drakengard's universe and fucked up elements were thought of then. Man, it really did bite Tokyo in the ass then :P
I hated this part in Drakengard, but the boss battle was one of the most unique I have ever played. Took a looonng time before I memorized this, even slightly.
I know. If I remember it took me about 60 tries before I got the rythm from the music down. xD The key is to just listen to her song. Memorize the pattern. And you win. And if you're up to a challenge try and beat her using the exact OST. It's not that hard. xD
This song puts me in mind of the scene in Trinity Blood where the puppeteer destroys the holy city through the piano/bell system...

This track was made with only like 3 tunes.

@PLAL1057 Yes... It was great. It reminds me of the dark and twisted nature of Berserk.

Oh man, I remember spending forever memorizing the pattern because the god kept killing me.
Drakengard really has some of the best trippy endings ever.
